What you should know: if you have a fireplace or plan to have one installed, or if you enjoy outdoor fireside evenings around the fire pit, you should contact Dan at the Bearded Cordsman. He will consult with you about what kind of wood would be the most effective for your situation. For example, I have a one year-old wood-burning fireplace insert which can only take wood of certain lengths. Every time DAN delivers to me, he is cognizant of that. I have enjoyed my fires so much this year. In addition to them being heat efficient, they are a pleasure with the beautiful wood that Dan has provided to me. His pricing is fair. His service is impeccable. You want to do business with with him. He is so kind and nice.

He also made sure that he brought enough pallets for me as I didn't have an existing wood pile or rack. I should have enough wood for the winter, if not, I'm definitely calling Bill again.

The team works extremely hard and they clean up after their work as though they are cleaning their own property. That kind of pride in the work is often hard to find. I asked these two questions and the respondent (via text) imediately got miffed and acted like they were far too busy to deal with any one who would dare to ask. They immediately cut off my order because I had the audacity. As I said, they may have a good product (or not), but they sure weren't interested in confirming that by answering the two simple questions. The person I was texting with was rude and dismissive.
