Efforts to rectify it were futile as they flat out lied to my insurance company. I find it hard to believe that the three employees I interacted with made no mention in their notes of my direct answer to their direct question asking for the reason for my appointment. Wait times are incredibly long- I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment before I was seen. I am definitely switching to a new provider.

After my right total knee replacement on May 18, 2026, I ran into major delays due to an outside rehab facility losing paperwork and failing to submit for insurance pre-authorization. By the time I finally started rehab 15 days after surgery, complications required me to undergo a manipulation under anesthesia (MUA). It was a painful setback, but getting into therapy right away with Olivia Rose made all the difference in the world. From day one, Olivia was absolute perfection. I often joked with her about being "mean" to me during our sessions, but in all reality, her persistent drive, incredible knowledge, passion fir her trade, and top-tier expertise were exactly what I needed. She knew how to push me through the toughest parts of the rehab process safely and effectively. Thanks to her dedication, patience, and unwavering belief in my recovery, I am now mostly pain-free and genuinely feel like I've been given a new lease on life. I also want to give a special shout-out to her colleague, Mackenzie Gerau, who stepped in seamlessly whenever Olivia was unavailable. When my primary doctor referred me to Boone Health Pain Management in Columbia, MO, I was a bit skeptical, but also desperate for relief. After my first appointment last week, I can genuinely say that I feel that I have found a team that genuinely cares and has the knowledge to help me. This gives me hope for a better quality of life with less pain. From the moment I walked in, the experience was impressive. The front desk staff were welcoming, the wait time was incredibly short, and the initial nurse was professional and kind. Then I met my pain management doctor (Annie Metzner), she completely exceeded my expectations as she seems knowledgeable, was very thorough, and took the time to listen to my long history of pain and me trying to convey my level of pain (what probably seemed like a grown man crying like a baby). I detailed to her my chronic low back pain, fibromyalgia pain, and severe joint pain in my knees and elbows. She listened patiently, asked me a-lot of questions, took detailed notes, and most importantly took immediate action. Right away, she ordered X-rays of my knees, scheduled me for physical therapy, and booked me for knee injections. For the first time in a long time, I have a profound sense of hope. Getting referred to Boone Health Pain Management and being assigned to Dr. Metzner and her team looks to be a God sent gift, for me. I am hopeful. Their initiative-taking and caring approach made me feel seen, heard, and cared about. I am genuinely optimistic about a future with less pain. If you have specific spots you'd like worked more, she's happy work on those specific areas as much as you'd like. Still did a great overall body massage. She can go deep tissue or light to match your needs. She is wonderful at deep tissue and really listens to what you'd like. She is also good at finding the points that have more knots or tension. The staff in the office was friendly as well and it just seemed like a good establishment. An hour massage with Wanda is normally $70 so a little pricey but worth it if you really need to get in or just want to treat yourself.

She used to walk at a snail's pace, but after being there for a month, she walks and moves better than she has in years -- including getting in and out of a car. She thought it was a miracle, but my daughter told her, "No, Grandma, it's physical therapy." The staff was very friendly, attentive, and were ready to answer any questions when we called. They worked with the assisted living place she moved into, taking care of all the details to make sure the transition was smooth. She was well cared for, and we highly recommend them. They are pros.
