Well anyway, I noticed that Chelle's and Green Garage were nowhere to be found on Yelp so I decided to fix that. As far as I know, Chelle's and Green Garage are owned by the same person. While Green Garage is more antique furniture and home decor focused, Chelle's has a ton of super cute and cool clothing plus jewelry, shoes, soaps, and other fun stuff. I initially found it while walking my dog through Chesterton one morning and then quickly returned with my mother to do some serious shopping. The items in this store can be a bit expensive, however, it all appeared to be "Made in the USA" and environmentally-friendly products. I LOVE that she has sale racks full of awesome clothes, really cute dresses for reasonable prices, and I even ended up with this great product I can spray on my dog to keep him from getting all stinky. This might not be a place where the guys are excited to frequent but it's a great spot for the ladies. Shop local!

There are so many really cute and unique items. I chatted with the owner and her beautiful daughter while I was there. I mentioned that there were many super sexy high heel shoes there and was told she specializes in unusual and specific items. In addition, they have a ton of really cute regular things as well. The shop was arranged in such a nice way. It's not that big but is filled with all kinds of things. It all seemed so clean and attractive. It was very easy to look around. I am thrilled to not have to drive downtown Chicago or to Oakbrook for a nice pair of jeans! I got to visit the boutique on it's opening day this past Saturday and found so many cute things. The store was packed, which is exciting as it means there are a lot of people who will be supporting it so we can keep places like this in our town. The owner was so kind and did an amazing job with the space. The prices are mid range, which is nice. It isn't over the top, but it also isn't cheap. I love the selection she has. She even commented on how she only orders a limited run of each item so that you don't see everyone around town in the same thing, so smart! Yes, most of the pieces are gold and gemstone AND out of my budget, but I can dream, right? Plus, I make jewelry myself and Abigail loves to talk about stones and other jewelry-related subjects.
