However, once I got inside, the incredible experience quickly made up for it. The place smelled amazing, and every staff member I encountered was exceptionally kind. I've been searching for a new nail tech due to issues with cleanliness at other salons, and I'm so happy to have found this one. I got a no-chip manicure and was impressed that they didn't charge extra for the cat-eye polish. Most importantly, they took a fresh file out of the package to use, which gave me confidence in their hygiene practices. The entire experience felt very clean and professional, and the interior is chic and spotless. While there, I asked about facials, and the aesthetician even came in early to accommodate me. I called on a whim, and they had an appointment available. Whew! I was pleasantly greeted and filled out my 'first time' form. After a brief chat to discuss my 'style', my hair was assessed, and I was sent to get shampooed. I have curly hair and have not had it professionally cut since 2018 because I was scarred by a hairstylist that I heard tell their coworker, "Don't worry if you make a mistake. She has curly hair and won't even notice." Let's just say that The Color Room has restored my faith in a quality haircut. Pam was my stylist. She was pleasant and efficient. She used the"Curly Girl" line for my hair. I never really thought my hair was coarse until they used this stuff, and now my hair feels as soft as a puppy's fur. I am not mad at it because usually, if my hair is this soft, it won't style. But upon leaving, everything was in order. My hair was on point, and I was ready for the rest of my afternoon.
