They do not practice honesty, I applied for a medical billing position and they tried to put me in a receptionist position at a lower wage. When doctors think they are better than people it causes a problem. When I was filling out paperwork for a false position, I witnessed two employees quit. They undermine people and are not good to employees from what I witnessed. read more

From the first time I met the Dr. I was very impressed with how the office was ran and his bed side manner. Since the move from their old office the business/practice is nothing like it was in the past. The staff is inadequate at best. Records not kept properly. Information requested by other Dr. Offices not sent and/or not current....but test results were sent but not filed. CT scan reports not followed up on. Prescriptions not called in on time or not written at all. The Dr. left the room in the middle of the visit and didn't return....he was interrupted by his staff and forgot me. His nurse came in and ask me if there was anything else. Test that were discussed were not written out to be taken. If you value your health please do yourself a HUGE favor and pass this office up like a hot potato. Please please please Dr.Salwan go back to the way it was a couple of years sgo. Your business is not more important than the patients that you swore to help....:-( I will update this review after seeing another Dr. and hopefully find out why I am in so much constant pain. read more

Sorry if his review is long , I have been a patient for over a year and have had nothing but problems with this doctors office ,flashback to my first visit , on the day of my first appointment while waiting for my appointment I overheard several patients ( three different patients to be exact ) voicing complaints , prescriptions's not called in , orders for blood work not given etc .... one lady sitting next to me gave me an earful about the horrible staff . I really did not have a good feeling about this but told myself perhaps this is just patients having a bad day , I should give them a chance and see for myself after my first visit ( for my first appointment I waited 2 1/2 hours to see the doc by the way ). Following multiple visits I don't have any complaints about the doctor but the staff is horrible. If you try to call the office to get an appointment , you can never get a live person , only a recording , if you need a prescription refilled good luck you are going to need it , getting refills is a huge hassle lots of phone calls that always gets me nowhere, recently I was running low on some meds that I needed so I decided to call for refills early before I ran out , I called the office for hours never got a hold of anyone , just kept getting an answering machine , called for days , left messages for someone to please return my calls , but no one ever did . Finally I decided to physically go to the office to speak to someone about this , went to office on 5/13/2015 spoke to several people at front desk , explained my situation and told my prescription would be called in asap , I had no reason to think the problem would not be taken care of . Fast forward 1 week , my prescriptions were never called or sent in , the people in the office lied to me ! What to do now , I call the office and since it was after hours I spoke to the on site operator , when I told him about my situation he exclaimed "I can't help you , but I will take your name and number and someone will return your call the following day " . A week later still waiting on that call ,I realize no one in Dr Salwan's office will ever return my calls or messages , I have to stress that on every occasion that I spoke to someone , I was always kind and polite and was never rude to anyone ever . This staff is the most unprofessional group I have ever encountered , I suppose they find it quite amusing to lie to people and treat them like garbage ( maybe because I am Hispanic they think its okay to offer inferior service )My advice stay away from this dr at all costs , and avoid the headaches , again I want to stress I did not have any complaints about this doctor , he was okay , just the horrible staff , but I find it hard to believe Dr Salwan does not know what is going on in his office , so that leads me to believe he does, but just does not care , his indifference speaks volumes read more

Some of these complaints are so mean! Most doctors offices are super busy! Dr. Salwan is a GREAT doctor. The best most caring doctor I've ever had in my life! I wish he was in Riverside. I've gone to a new Doctor now. And he has great reviews but he isn't the same doctor. Doctor Salwan helped me so much! Please remove your bad reviews about him! He does his best considering he has a ton of patients and remove the ones about the office staff too because they work hard also. It takes time to call in prescriptions and to get blood work results back and to send out for authorizations when a doctor has many patients! Please show some kindness. read more

I've been a patient for about a year now. Dr. Salwan is an amazing Doctor he's very thorough when explaining things and compassionate, I also love the PA, she takes her time with you! After being seen on my appointments, I give my list of meds to the doctors assistant and she calls them in by the end of the day. They're a very busy office, but the staff is friendly and helpful when I have questions. Also when I have trouble paying for my insulin, if the office has samples they'll help me out. If you value your time stay FAR Away! Their phones are always busy and you never get a call back. It took 3 months for a referral. Dr. ARVIND SALWAN schedules appointments 2 hours before he even comes into office., which means you wait at least 2 hours. The front desk staff often ignore you and are rude. I will be happy to pay more for insurance so that I can find a doctor that realizes my time is just as valuable as his. read more

Excellent is the word to described the office. My experience was nothing but great service in the office, everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. I have nothing to complain about the office because every questioned i had for the doctor was answered very thoroughly . The staff is very helpful and are always on time calling in my medications and also returning my phone call. I am pleased to say that he is one of the best primary doctor out here in the high desert. I have referred many of my family relatives to dr. salwan. The office is very clean and well organized . I had a great experience with the doctor- who was able to figure out what was going on with me in 2 visits. I was seeing 3 different doctors over the last 6 years- and Dr. Salwan was able to figure out I had Celiac's disease in just 2 visits! I do agree that the office is hard to get through to- but in the high desert all the primary doctors have that issue. All I can say is that the doctor got my life back on track! read more

The dr. is much better than my last dr. Most of the patients who've had problems seem to be a lot of the narcotic seekers- as when i was in the waiting room- there were angry patients who wanted a bunch of vikodins and they weren't giving prescriptions for them. My husband and I have been with Dr. Salwan for about 5 years. We could never see ourselves going to any other doctor. He is considerate and really, truly cares about your health. He is smart, kind, compassionate and thinks outside the box when diagnosing. We have referred other patients to him and they were equally impressed. Went to Salwan 3 times and let me tell you he is just not for me. I the time was great and he seems a caring doctor. The second time, he had me waiting 3 hours only to find out that he had left for the day without seeing me. His assistant whom was still seeing people called the doctor only for him not to answer his phone. After the second time I should have never went for a third time. Today I went to see him for him to tell me that it looked like I had a spinal cord problem. His solution get some yoga videos without doing any addition testing. His nurse then come in and hands me a prescription and tells me to come back in a mouth or so. My problem is he never discussed any prescription with me at all. So once I got home his paperwork and prescription all went in the trash, and I'm now looking for another doctor. read more

I was ticked off before I entered the office as they made me wait 1 month to see the doctor & cancelled my appointment once! The front desk girl was o.k. and the back office girl was nice but slow. I was very happy with dr. salwan (even though I waited a full hour!). He listened to me for awhile and gave me his time. The tests he ordered were a little different than the ones I've had before, but it showed that I had a autoimmune thyroid condition. He started me on a new medication and sent me to a weird but awesome thyroid doctor. I am so much better now! Thanks! read more
