History
Established in 2016.
A physical therapist who wanted to provide a different yet highly effective approach to rehabilitation and healing decided that providing a holistic, hands-on, individually tailored sessions is the most effective in cost and time to assist a person in achieving his/her goals.
Meet the Business Owner: Megan R.
Megan E. Richey, PT, DPT, owner and founder of Radiant Physical Therapy, received her doctorate of physical therapy from Duke University School of Medicine. She uses her extensive knowledge from her education and experience in multiple types of settings to create an tailored approach that focuses on correcting movement dysfunction causing injury through corrective exercises and hands-on manual therapy / bodywork, specializing in myofascial release as taught by John F. Barnes, PT.
As a travelling physical therapist in rural Oregon and Washington, Dr. Megan discovered the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach. It was the missing link in her practice, an invigorating discovery that led her to New York, and now Connecticut. In creating Radiant Physical Therapy, we believe in facilitating the healing process in a one-on-one, hands-on, tailored approach that focuses on correcting movement dysfunction to help the patient achieve his / her goals.
