He was recommended to me so I thought I was going to someone reputable…read more He rents space in an office building and on our first appointment I had to wait for him to show up. He looked at my taxes for 5 minutes and said he would work on them later even though we scheduled time to complete them at that appointment. He said he would bring them home to look at as he threw them on this desk and walked out with me because he was in need of a cigarette. When I called him the following week when I was supposed to pick up my taxes he proceeded to tell me I "was in line" and they weren't done. Once I finally got them he suggested I set up a bank withdrawal for what I owed this year so I wouldn't have to send a check. I agreed only if it was designated on a specific date. He agreed. Then he proceeded to submit my taxes without a date. This caused a major problem with my bank account and he refused to try to rectify it. When I requested that he either rectify the situation or give me a refund his response was "nope". This man is beyond unprofessional. He does not seem to be able to focus on anything he does and that's not someone you want doing your taxes. His only concern is to get you out the door so he can have a cigarette break. DO NOT GO TO HIM!!

By the time they were called, Patricia only wanted them to drop off documents, however they wanted to make sure they had everything needed so they pushed to use the *15-minute* appointment they made to discuss with the tax pro. Patricia still showed impatience despite them wanting to make sure they made her job as easiest as possible. One year later, we learn Patricia made multiple mistakes on our tax return after receiving a notice from the IRS. They went in multiple times to "scan" the return since somehow the prior few times, the return was deleted and the tax pro "had no idea" about our concern even though she told another tax pro they must've not given her the document initially. Since we opted for a CPA to make the changes, HR Block says we can't prove that we provided the documents the first time...for one of the mistakes. They ignored the other mistakes in the return. The regional manager, Lynn, ignores our calls. The treatment after my parents' concerns where brought up to this location is why I'm making this review, not the mistakes. I was hoping HR Block would have more integrity than this. I would only go here if you only have W-2s to file. They can't seem to handle more complicated returns. Ironic since this is why my parents went to them in the first place to avoid exactly what happened anyway.
