Miss Priss was showing signs of bumblefoot, and Dr. Crabtree treated her with such compassion, patience, and expertise. She took the time to explain everything, answer our (many!) questions, and made sure Miss Priss was as comfortable as possible. The swelling is being monitored closely, and thanks to Dr. Crabtree's thoughtful care plan--including bed rest and Epsom salt soaks--we're hopeful our little diva will be back to ruling the roost in no time! Finding a vet who treats chickens like family is rare, and we are so thankful to have Dr. Crabtree in ours. If your feathered or furry family members ever need a vet who truly gets it, we can't recommend her highly enough! Thank you again, Dr. Crabtree--from our whole flock!

Every time I visit the vet we are greeted by Karen & are quickly put in the exam room with Dr. Shelton. They are top notch from giving my pets vaccinations, to diagnosing an abscess lump on my German Shepherd, finding allergy relief for our pug & even meeting me on a Sunday night when they are CLOSED to help send my 16yr old chihuahua mix over the rainbow bridge. Not only is Dr. Shelton a wonderful veterinarian but the prices are VERY FAIR & AFFORDABLE!! I worked for a "city vet"for many years and even with an employee discount I walked away paying higher prices! I am very thankful for this animal hospital!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!

Before making the appointment, I specifically looked into the pricing so I would know what to expect. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the beginning. We waited approximately 35 minutes before anyone came into the exam room, and when the staff member finally came in, there was no greeting or introduction. I was simply given a rundown of what was going to happen during the visit. I was then strongly pushed to have a heartworm test, even though I had made it clear that I did not want the test. After that, we waited another 25 minutes for the veterinarian. When he came in, there was again no introduction. The examination itself was extremely quick, he administered my dog's three vaccines, and then the visit was over. The biggest issue came when I received the bill. I had done my research beforehand and knew the prices I had been quoted and what I expected to pay. My bill was more than $80 higher than what I had been quoted--and that was not even including the rabies vaccine. I was very surprised and disappointed by the difference. I voiced my concerns when checking out, but there was no apology or attempt to address the situation. The response from the veterinarian was simply, "OK," and I was told to have a nice day. For a first-time client, I expected better communication, professionalism, and customer service. The long wait times, lack of introductions, pressure regarding an additional test, and unexpected charges made this a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, they have lost my business. I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience with others.
