This is not a fancy place. You want pool and cheap beer? Go here. Walking distance from Jimmy's.

Wow wow wow! My bartender recommended the wings and they are to die for! First smoked, then fried…read morethen sauced with Asian buffalo sauce. I'm not sure what the sauce was, but I couldn't stop eating it! Then went with the Asian tacos with brisket. Very interesting combination of sauces and brisket. I added the vinegar based bbq sauce for even more yum! Ended with the key lime pie. Definitely different than I was expecting, but very solid none the less. I highly recommend this place! Go get you some!!

The wife and I were in town for a wedding, and I'd read some good reviews about the Blue Duck…read moreBarbecue Tavern. We dropped in for dinner on a cold Tuesday evening about 6:30pm. Not real busy, but I did notice that there seemed to be several "Door Dash" pickups while we ate dinner. We had good service. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 1/2 rack ribs (4 stars), 1/2lb Brisket (3 1/2 stars), Brunswick stew (4 1/2 starts), and Chili Con Carnie (5 stars). The house made barbecue sauce was the highlight of the meal (5 Stars). The ribs were very good and fell off the bone. The sauce made them exceptional. Brisket was tasty, but a little dry for my wife's liking. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered the brisket "chopped". The waitress indicated that the "chopped" brisket was more "fatty". The Chili Con Carnie was very very good. Not something that you see at a Barbeque place often. I highly recommend. The key lime pie was very tasty and better than what you get at most places. Although not quite exceptional. Worth a try though. Overall, we liked the Blue Duck Barbecue Tavern. Great location and lots of character. Very good ribs, excellent homemade barbeque sauce.

Great food and friendly service…read more Stopped in for a quick lunch while waiting for a flight out of PIA airport. Had the Southwest egg roll with chipotle ranch sauce and the Reuben based on the bartender's suggestion. Will definitely return to try other items!

Life as a Southerner in the Midwest is not fair at times…read more I found Bellevue Tap and read a glowing review about their wings thanks to Yelp. I figured I had to go try them. I do not drink alcohol and many places here in the Midwest do not serve sweet tea. I have brought my own sweet tea countless times to restaurants and no one cared... that is until Bellevue Tap. I sat down and the first thing I said was I was here for wings. The lady noticed my tumbler and asked what was in it. I said sweet tea. She then told me I couldn't have that in there. I did not see a sign anywhere that was posted about not bringing outside drinks especially one they did not have on hand. I guess she thought I was going to pick the wings over my sweet tea and well, she was wrong. I got up and left. Before I wrote this review, I googled to see if I was at fault for bringing in my own drink. The only thing I could find was the restaurant could ask me to leave. But I told her I was going to order wings. I thought if I wanted to give them money, they wouldn't care. Like I said, I have lived in the Midwest for 4 years and brought in my own sweet tea to countless places. No one else cared and I even asked if it was ok several times before. I can understand if I was not going to order food or they had sweet tea on hand on why they would tell me not to bring it in. The lesson here...Don't mess with this Bama Boy and his sweet tea! By the way, if someone comments or messages on this review with proof I was in the wrong, I will delete this review.
