I have been a patient of Dr Oostendorp's for a few years. At first, I thought she was engaging and…read morehelpful. However, in the past few years, I have felt gas lighted when asking menopause related questions. The answers are an exaperated laugh and a comment about how everyone faces these things when they age. Yes, some changes are expected, but some are not and many can be managed with help from a doctor. Many are also indicators that some other issue could be going on. I recently have had a severe medical issue. This doctor does not take same day or same week appts., so I had to go to Dr Rogers, who also works there. Dr. Rogers could only tell me to go to the ER if the problem continues...as the issue was occurring at the moment she said that, it kinda fell flat for me. She then told me to collect a paper at check out for more testing. The issue involves a loss of sight and extreme head pain. All of the testing was created with contrast dye, which would kill me and is NOTED AS A SEVERE ALLERGY ON MY CHART! I asked her for other testing and I was told she would fax it when I made the appt, but how do you make an appt for testing when the tests are not determined? I was able to find a helpful scheduling person and made a temporary appt. Dr. Rogers did not follow through with faxing testing to the Trenton facility (I sent a request 4 times and Trenton sent one once.) The office said they faxed it, but Trenton requested it after the date they said they sent it, so obviously, it never arrived. That was 5 days ago and the orders have still not arrived. I spoke with the front desk and the office manager Elizabeth regarding being in pain for 8 days with no help from my doctor and was told that "the world just doesn't revolve around me" and that "I should just go away" She said that "I have too many issues going on" and hungup on me. I called back ad she said that "she was NOT wasting her time on me". She also said to seek my pain meds somewhere elsel. I am floored! I have never been on anything more than Motrin 800s before. Wow! This response is super great when I am having extreme pain and vision distortion. I have never dealt with a more rude person at a doctor's office in my entire life. The issues at this office and the lack of actually trying to diagnose a problem by her the doctors, make this office one to beware of. I guess it's fine if you are status quo and not really needing medical help. I was also told that I could not send any notes or emails directly to my own doctor (Dr. O). This is not worth my time as a patient. Something has really gone wrong with my health, I"m not be able to count on this office for assistance. By the way: i apologize for any spelling or grammar errors. As I said, my vision is impaired by whatever is going on, that MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE HAS REFUSED TO DO THE JOB HELPING ME WITH.

I would not recommend Trenton Total Health for anything beyond very basic medical care -- things…read morelike allergies, colds, or COVID. I've tried every provider there, and unfortunately, none of them seem very knowledgeable beyond general or routine issues. One experience that stood out to me was when I went in for a gynecological concern. The female physician completely minimized my pain and didn't seem familiar with what I was describing. What made it even more disappointing was that the wall in her office had a sign saying she specializes in women's health, but that was definitely not reflected in my visit. Overall, I think they're fine for simple, everyday care, but I would not recommend them for anything more complex or specialized.

They have in-house xray, ultrasound, blood, pharmacy, ect I've mostly seen "Jerry" who I found to be all around fantastic. He, and honestly all other staff members, are very smart, understanding, and compassionate. Another large plus for me, they have NEVER tried to push opioids on me once. For me that means a great deal since I don't want any. Another huge thing for me is that the wait time for a walk in is about the same as my dentist usually. I've been seen in as little as 10-20 min multiple times, I definitely recommend this establishment

He called, booked an appointment and got in and not even a weeks time. So yesterday was his first appointment as a new patient. He said from the moment he walked in, the lady at the front desk was just an absolute doll just beyond nice and friendly. Then he seen Doctor Charara. He absolutely loves him and my husband is not a Dr. person. He said he spent more than a reasonable amount of time with him. Everything that you would want a doctor nowadays to do on a first check up. He was just the most kind, caring an awesome Dr. and I didn't see his name in the list here so I'm hoping he gets his own personal page because I've already put him on Facebook and Google to highly highly recommend him. You will not be sorry I promise What an absolute joy to have a fantastic doctor in this day and age

Oh my. Where do I start?…read more The intake appointment is the only appointment I had that I waited in the lobby less than 1 hour, for internal medicine and OB/GYN, even if there was no one in the lobby. The atmosphere feels like the "fast food" of medical offices. In internal medicine, I saw Dr. Sheila Sungurlu only 3 times and that was more than enough for me. I was complaining about the continuous hour wait to the staff after the intake. For the intake, there was a 15 minute wait. On the third appointment, she came into the room obviously suppressing her rage. This was beyond anger. She didn't even say hello and started laying into me, literally. I thought it was going to turn into a yelling match. She pretty much said that the wait is always an hour at least and if I could find somewhere else that the wait was shorter, then go do it... three times. Then, she proceeded to say that she waited 2 hours for her PCP. Who in their right mind would do that? She was rude, snarky, and outright refused medical records I had in hand from a previous doctor. It was always an issue getting prescription refills. They were additionally always incorrect. The office staff was just as, err, pleasant. I also saw their OB/GYN, Dr. Danysh Bohdan, for a routine yearly exam & pap. He did the exam without a nurse in the room, which from what I heard later is illegal. While he was doing the exam, he did not remove my birth control. The speculum was causing me pain during the exam due to this. I asked if he would remove the birth control because he was hurting me. He refused. I had other issues I wanted to discuss with him and it was like pulling teeth to get any helpful information from him or further course of action. He was very blah about everything and didn't seem to care about much. The routine blood work I needed did not show 2 of the medications I was on, twice. The Phlebotomist was not very skilled after boasting working in the ER on overnights and with newborns. It took 3 sticks to get 2 tubes. To get through to anyone at Oakwood to file a complaint took me over 1 week to get a call back for information on where to send a complaint, even though they have those "Tell us how we are doing" cards in each specialization office. If I were you, pass this place running, driving, flying, wind sailing, 4 wheeling, hang gliding, or whatever you use as a mode of transportation. Within 1 week, I found a clinic with the best PCP I've ever had, an OB/GYN that's fantastic with an average wait time of around 20 minutes or less. Don't settle people. It's your health!
