We started by talking about my hair and its past, my routine and what I want my hair to be. He listened intently and adjusted his consultation with me accordingly. After the dry cut (which turned out perfect), he washed and styled my hair. Through every step, he was explaining why this works for my hair and how I could do it at home. I have never really known what to do with my natural hair, but now I do! He listened so well to all of my questions and concerns and I am so happy with the result! I had the impression of salons as being places that aim to pump out clients and push products. This was totally not true here. Of course they do have products and tools they recommend and sell, but are upfront that you don't need to buy from them. But after all the hard work Richard put into my hair, the least I could do was support them by buying from them. Just to add to it all, the environment was so welcoming, friendly and calm. I will be back to this salon and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants happy, healthy hair.
