They are so rude here!! & more expensive than other stores!! I gave this store more chances than I should thinking maybe having a bad day ,then same rudeness each time & not only to me but other customers as well. & the employees stay on their phones with personal calls while waiting on you. You can't help but to hear their conversation since they are loud as well while being on phone. Came through on our way back to ATL. Needed gas, bathroom breaks and snacks. The Raceway did not disappoint. The facility was clean, and the workers hospitable. Gas is cheaper on the Alabama side of the border. The checkout people were super friendly. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY - the restrooms were spotless! That's a huge win in my books. Definitely will come back here in my next pass through. Thank you Raceway! read more

Some places insist that you don't do business with them. This pathetic Raceway is one of those locations. My family was headed up I-85, and we needed to use the bathroom. It was 10:55 PM, and apparently this location closes at 11:00 PM. Upon walking in, the lady behind the counter gave the most sardonic smile possible while "apologizing" and remarking that they were closed. I tried to plead my case. We were going to buy gas, and possibly some snacks. We just really needed to use the bathroom. The lady of course gave us a big F U through her continued sardonic smile and continued to "apologize" and mention that it was 11:00 PM. Hey guess what? It wasn't 11:00 PM. Hey guess what else? We didn't get gas, and we'll be sure to avoid this pathetic place. We travel up and down I-85 frequently, and could've conceivably given this place a lot more money. Hey, fellow Yelper. If you're checking in and about to get gas at this location, please hop back into your car right now. Total jerks, like the people who run this gas station, have no business making money from customers that they clearly hate. read more

For this to be an outlet for a national chain, I was extremely disappointed on my visit. Very apathetic and nearly hostile employees...glaring at me and everybody else like we were in the store to shoplift or harsh their mellow. Honestly, there are at least a half-dozen other places to gas up and buy road food at this exit, so an attitude adjustment is in order. Why would I ever want to return to see the grimaces on the sour faces or hear the guttural monosyllabic grunts from the cashiers? I wouldn't. There is a Chester's Chicken counter inside (although I'll refrain from the natural juvenile jokes that the name evokes). I wouldn't buy any food in here that might require touching by one of the trollish employees, because the bathroom was filthy and there was NO SOAP. WTH?! Seriously, this isn't 1970, when every restroom had a bar of soap that could get lost or stolen. Fill up the damned liquid soap dispenser daily...or every hour, if necessary...and be done with it. There is no excuse for not having soap in a bathroom, other than laziness or contempt for your customers. I didn't get a "thank you" or any other salutation...just a glare and a total for my drinks and snacks. Whatever, Lanette Raceway. I won't be back. read more

Wish there was a negative emjoi for this location!! We were traveling to GA from FL, stopped at this location for gas, restroom break and snacks/drinks. Card reader at gas pump kept rejecting our credit card. We finally moved to another pump. Upon returning home, I am online checking bills and see a $4000 charge to our card on the same day we stopped into this location.... am sure a skimmer was on this pump!! We will always remember moving forward to check the card readers and watch which stations we choose to trade with!! read more

If you're heading down I85 toward Alabama, before you even see the big blue Welcome to Alabama sign and before you come to the Alabama Welcome Rest Area, you have to take the first Alabama exit for Lanett/Valley. Turn right and go half a block to the Raceway. You'll find every manner of snack or drink available, plus clean restrooms. But best of all, you'll find gas prices significantly cheaper than Georgia. I recently paid $2.37 in Atlanta but got to this Raceway where it was selling for $2.15, a 22 cent per gallon savings. I always time my gas purchases to get this comparatively inexpensive gas when I'm traveling to or from Atlanta. Love it! read more
