The guy was there in 15 minutes; he pulled the tire and put on the "bubble spare" and then was good enough to ask where I was headed. He informed me that the bubble was ONLY good for 50 miles and only AT 50 mph! He led me back to Rodney's Marathon, got the guys manning the garage to come deal with my real tire. Not only did they have it patched and me on the road in 15 minutes, but they led me into the restaurant part of the station so I'd be in AC--without swarming lovebugs!--while they did so. I was impressed with their staff and their service. All it cost me was $15 and tax for the tire repair. Hard to argue with that! Thanks, guys!

Double-Dip #1- Assuming you patronize Walmart, buy yourself a membership. It will cost you less than $100 and comes with tons of perks including gas discounts at Murphy's. How do you get the $? You tell the gas pump you are Walmart member by scanning a QRC code or punching in a code available on the Walmart app. See my picture. Double-Dip 2- Walmart is also in bed with Capital One. Get yourself a Walmart credit card. It has no fee. Pay for your gas with this card. So how much can you get Steven B? Depending on the deals going on I get at least 10 cents a gallon and sometimes up to 15! This can really add up over a year to some serous $$! Note, I believe the amounts might vary by state. The gas station itself is top notch. Up-to-date pumps and often the best price intown. The convenience store is spotless. I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!

This was less than expected as usually the turnpike gas stations are radically higher in price than our local gas stations.
