It was one of the largest restroom I have ever seen with lights above each bathroom door letting you know when it was available for the next person. They also have restroom attendants! Just beautiful and immaculate. This place gets a lot of traffic, especially on the weekends. They sell food, drinks, snacks, clothes, souvenirs, household items and more! Easy in and out here... I personally could not wait to get out! Too many people in one space... If you stop here with kids make sure you don't let them out of your sight. Easy to get lost here... just sayin ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

As my 14 year old pumping gas a man, his wife and daughter(about 3 or 4) were walking from their vehicle by Wendy's going towards the store and some dumb idiot almost hit all 3 of them. The dad yelled at them to slow down. Well, they circled around the parking lot and parked. About 30 kids went walking up in front of the store waiting for this family to walk out. The teens kept telling each other they were going to beat his ...! The store clerk did NOTHING! I called the cops. They arrived and just sat in their suv and watched them. I counted 14 cars and trucks. These kids need to be stopped before someone gets hurt! They are just out to try and cause trouble. I have seen them sitting out there drinking too. I'm pretty sure 95% of them go to Tate. Something needs to be done!

I fill up with gas because I know I'll be going to all my favorite places. After getting gas I go inside and get a Mountain Dew icee. They are awesome. During my visit home my sister and I will get lunch at the freshly prepared food and it never disappoints. One of my favorites is the fried fish cooked to perfection. Get there before 2 pm and you can get grub at the attached Down Home Kitchen, which has some really good eats. We weren't sure which part of the counter we were supposed to place our items on, and instead of giving us even a basic bit of direction, the employee behind the register acted like we were an inconvenience for simply asking. The rudeness was immediate and completely unnecessary -- sharp tone, impatient attitude, and zero effort to help. What made it worse was that the worker essentially refused to check us out. I've never had someone deny service over something as small as not knowing which part of a counter to use. It felt unprofessional, disrespectful, and honestly embarrassing for no reason. Everyone has bad days, but this went beyond that. If a job involves dealing with customers, basic courtesy shouldn't be optional. I hope management pays attention, because no one should be treated like that over a simple purchase.
