Despite all the signs on the doors and in the store that masks were required, the nasty woman working the register had none on .... neither did 3/4 of the people standing around the store or waiting in line to pay. The woman even was joking about how she didn't care if she caught something with the guy in the line ahead of me. So when I went up to the counter I explained to her (like all the other times I have had to do it) that I wanted to use my rewards card to get the discount on gas.. She told me to swipe my card...she was supposed to do something and then I was supposed to pay... meanwhile she holds the credit card reader while I am having to put my card in... Do you know how close you have to get to someone to do that?? She was practically in my face... The card machine said it was invalid... and then she proceeded to tell me the card couldn't be used for pay gas. LIKE I THOUGHT IT WAS A CREDIT CARD. She was nasty and I feel like her whole attitude towards me was because I WAS wearing a mask.
