I entered the store through the rear entrance, it's easier to do if you were just in the plaza nearby. Walked about the store for a bit to see if there were any other snacks or drinks I might want, noting to not weigh down my bag anymore than it already was. Not seeing anything worth taking I headed to the register. The one item I did want was one behind the register. They had exactly what I was looking for and the employee working was quick. She also prompted me if I had the app, saving me a few dollars in the transaction. It is weird to see a Wawa out of its natural habitat. But worthwhile to see it thriving.

The store was well lit and spacious aisles made it easy to browse. Despite the fact that it was almost closing time when we visited, this Publix was bustling. The store appeared clean inside. We were surprised to see a huge Disney section ( tee shirts, hats, and many other assorted souvenir items ) in this store but after all, this Publix is located in a tourist area. Check out was quick.

This Publix is exactly what you'd expect from this beloved Florida chain. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, if a little dingy and worn down on the outside. The aisles are spacious, the shelves are well-stocked, and it's simple to find both everyday essentials and specialty items. Their produce and bakery sections are great here, with colorful and appealing fresh fruits and veggies and a large bakery that has a decent selection of breads, cakes, cookies, and pies. There's a nice prepared foods section too, which is great if you want a quick and healthier meal in your hotel room without having to cook. This location isn't fancy, but it carries a ton of different brands. As with all Publix supermarkets, the prices are on the higher side. This isn't the store to shop if you're looking for a bargain. The staff seems competent and helpful, and I didn't have to wait long at all to check out. Parking is free and convenient too, which is a big plus in the Orlando resort area. This location also sells Disney souvenirs. I picked up some adorable Minnie Mouse pencils that I just couldn't resist for less than $5.

For our intents and purposes I'll use a C because she definitely could have the Understanding kNowing That we're the guests in her store and they surely it's not our job to ask for the rewards card on at the point of sale . The cashier was lovely and it's an honest mistake. The manager was hostile and if you see the caps letters above , it couldn't describe her better in one word . She was unwilling to simply return the drinks or as I was advising to just let us have the extra drinks and we would be on our way . I'm running late for a cruise to the Bahamas . If she wants to a be a petty person and extremely cheap about things one should know this gas station has everything overpriced but to have such disrespect for a customer that you're going to make your mistake the peoples court and be the judge to tell the customer you should have read the sign and when told it's your job to ask me if I have a rewards card or not . She seriously went back to not check the price to see the fine print . The drinks were on the bottom shelf . Just keep driving and find your nearest Wawa . This place is bad aura and vibes .

The fountain drinks and the free water available to anyone which is not an option at many businesses and if the water is free at other places they are charging you for the cup, which is one thing Wawa does not do, the water and any size cup of water that you choose is free of charge!. Not to mention the cold beverages in the refrigerator section and of course the hot coffee and hot chocolate as well as other hot beverage options available for purchase!. But I stopped in just to order a quick sub, I noticed there were zero carts available for anyone which was odd. I feel bad for people who were going in to actually grocery shop, they would have needed to do it with only a basket. So taking a star off for that. The older lady at the sub counter looked over it. There was nobody in line, so it wasn't like it was busy. I asked for a jerk turkey sub. She likes ok but what kind of bread do you want? I proceeded to say white. She then said half or whole? I'll do half. I told her mayo on both sides, she looked annoyed. She asked what cheese, I said Gouda, she then looked annoyed again even though Gouda is what the sandwich comes with. I added some other toppings and then said bacon. She was like "you want bacon?? I said yes, ma'am. She proceeds to get the bacon out of the drawer and sticks in the oven for not even 10 seconds, so the bacon is flimsy and fatty not crispy at all. (Bacon comes on this sandwich so I'm not sure why it was such a bother.) she wraps it and hands it to me, without even asking if I wanted anything else on it. I said thank you and took the sandwich but walked away confused like why was this lady so bothered. No "you're welcome, or have a nice day" nothing. All in all, taking another star off because she is the wrong person to be customer facing because she's not pleasant at all. She should be in the back somewhere. Also-there is a very elderly lady in the parking lot gathering the carts. I feel like she should be working indoors in the AC and maybe have someone younger in the heat outside for liability purposes...and because it's the right thing to do. Would not come back to this location especially since there's another Publix across the street that has plenty of carts and friendly deli people.
