Some of us also had access to a suite just below the announcers booth. This was a cool experience because we got to watch the race while enjoying the comforts of air conditioning, theater style seats and a small balcony. All employees and their families were provided complimentary tickets to the event. Sponsoring the race also included opportunities to present winners trophies, tour the pit prior to the race and even ride in the pace car. I was given the opportunity to ride in the pace car for a 20 lap race. I know that most do not get the same experience that I had but if ever given the chance you should take it. This was an amazing experience at a racetrack that is a NASCAR legend. We had never been to anything like this and weren't sure what to expect. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase food at one of the concession stands. Typical event food such as pizza, chicken tenders and fries, hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, nachos, etc. are available at reasonable prices. There are also specialty vendors which we assume change depending on the race. Tonight, there were opportunities to have apple cider mini doughnuts, ice cream, boiled peanuts, cookies, deep fried Oreos and frozen drinks. They also have merch for purchase. It appears that at one end of the stadium is the beer garden area but we did not check that out. We did not see alcohol served anywhere else but the suites and beer garden area. It does appear that coolers are allowed. There were signs when exiting the suites that said, "No alcohol beyond this point". Overall, this was a great experience.

They make meals onsite (pizza and wings) and offer a variety of beverages (Coke products). There is also ping pong and corn hole in the meeting room. They thoroughly review safety and the rules of riding. It's a great place for children and adults. The go karts go up to 50 mph and can really handle the curves. I went with a group and we had a great time! Come check it out for yourself.

One feature I liked was that visitors are allowed to go to a portion of the actual work floor and observe the many actions it takes to create these race cars. The two requirements of being in the area are that you stay in the marked area and no photography is permitted. Another nice bonus is one of their sponsors is an energy drink, and you can get a free can of it!

The RPDE instructors teach you what you need to know to be successful and then let you go. My first time out, I hit a top speed of 144 mph with a best lap if 42 seconds. Second time with RPDE was PHENOMENAL!!! I had TWO of the "King's Experiences" for a total of 36 laps. I hit a top speed of 158 mph with a best lap of 37.99 seconds. When we arrived at the track, he was smiling from ear to ear he was so excited. Once he finished racing and I met him at the gate, I have never seen him express so much excitement (besides our wedding day). He said he would love to do every year he had so much fun. A week later and he is still talking about his racing experience and how he cannot wait to do it again. The employees were so nice and helpful.
