Boy, Acorn Glass really came through for me! I recently completed a renovation of my master…read morebathroom. I had purchased these really cool mirrors, and one day, about 6 months after renovation, I noticed one of my mirrors was cracked. I was dumbfounded. This was not a mirror that would be easily replaced, so I started researching online if I could possibly get it fixed. I brought it to a glass company with whom I was familiar, and they were concerned about marring the frame and could not fix the glass. Undeterred, I contacted Acorn Glass. They, too, saw the specialty mirror and were confounded--but only for an hour or two. They came up with an innovative solution--if we can't replace the glass, maybe we can put a new pane on top of it! As you can see from the pictures, not only did they do a beautiful job, but it was not at all easy to achieve! Yes, they did cut that irregular shape, and it's almost perfect. Nobody will know our secret without serious inspection of the mirror. I can't thank Acorn Glass enough for caring enough about my project to put the energy into creating this result!
