Dr. Chung and team wonderful! I've been coming for a few years now for different issues small and large. Dr. C always takes time to answer all my questions and think through my symptoms and best treatment paths. He also shares a lot of insight from his medical wisdom to help me understand whats going on and what to do about it. The space is peaceful and pretty and they make the whole experience from scheduling to visit so simple and easy. And I always leave with a homemade burdock root tea, which is such a generous and soothing parting gift. Thank you for your work! read more

Dr. and his team are incredible. I've been going to him for years, and have recommended him to so many people. I've gone for issues pertaining to my skin/acne, back and neck injuries, overall malaise, and depression. Most recently I came in after waking up with an incredibly painful/ stiff neck and shoulder that wouldn't go away. I immediately started experiencing relief after the session, and within a few days the pain was obsolete. We did a combination of cupping, heat therapy, and acupuncture during that session- each time you go in, the team tailors it to whatever you need at the time. Every time I go in for an appointment, I gain so much knowledge and understanding of the body. Which cupping areas are connected to each organ. How my organs are connected, and what emotions they're linked to. Foods to eat and things to do/not do to heal and support my body. Dr. Raah is so generous with his wisdom and knowledge- he truly cares about each patient and wants you to be as informed / educated as possible to feel your best! I'm always in good hands when I'm there, and I always leave feeling better than I went in. If you're suffering from just about any ailment, don't hesitate to book an appointment at Raah Acupuncture. It is a reasonable and worthy investment in your wellness! I'm so grateful to have found Dr., I will never go anywhere else! read more

Raah Acupuncture saved my life. I first came here in 2024 for extreme anxiety and I went to see Dr. Justin twice a week. After a few months, my anxiety was gone. I love Dr. Justin and his staff. They are professional and always very kind. Then, my severe anxiety and insomnia returned this year and I started going back to seeing Dr. Justin twice a week for the past few months and it has helped more than the medication that the doctor gave me. I always feel better after seeing Dr. Justin and his needles, the cupping and the experience is very healing. I have a very low threshold for pain and Dr. Justin's needles never hurt. Dr. Justin also makes herbal remedies that cater to your ailment that work. And he gives you food recommendations that also work, such as tart cherry juice (for insomnia), meat, kiwis and dates. I recommend Raah acupuncture for anyone who is facing any ailment, whether it be physical or mental. I love Dr. Justin and Deborah! And I will never stop going! Thank you Dr. Justin! read more

I was just reminiscing how Dr. Chung cleared my pack pain when I couldn't heal my pain on my own, or sports therapists, chiropractors, masseuses, sobadors could fix the issue. I couldn't raise my arms! I went to several health practitioners and no one resolved the excruciating pain I had! I almost went into tears it was so bad. Sad face all day! Dr. Chung has healing hands and I recommend you seek him. I've been to many acupuncturist and other forms of medicine yet, I've never felt the power of healing as I do after I leave from here. I live an hour away now but whenever I am going to be in the area I always book an appointment and look forward to my visit days ahead like a child going to an amusement park because I already know how good im going to feel when I walk out of there. I give him and his staff 10 stars. read more

Fantastic care. Just begun our journey with this clinic and we are really happy so far. Thank you Raah acupuncture!

I've been sick for three months and saw many Western doctors without any real improvement, so I finally decided to try Eastern medicine. I only had one visit here, but the experience was amazing. I decided to start coming in twice a week. Everyone at the clinic was kind and radiated positive energy. Dr. Chung was incredibly thorough in explaining everything going on with my health, from imbalances in my body to which organs were struggling and how they were affecting one another. He didn't just treat symptoms; he helped me understand the root causes and how to support recovery through diet, lifestyle, and mindset. It's rare to find a doctor who takes the time to explain your health in such a holistic and detailed way. I really appreciated that, because no matter how effective the in-office treatments are, long-term health depends on what I do outside the clinic too. The acupuncture and cupping were also incredibly relaxing, and Dr. Chung's expertise really showed throughout the process. I'm hopeful and excited to continue the treatments and improve my overall well-being. read more

I've been going to Raah acupuncture for a little more than a month now. I'm so impressed with his knowledge of the body and eastern medicine. Every time I'm there I learned something new! It's also been so easy to schedule with them, and they're always perfectly on time which I've not experienced with past acupuncture places. Everytime I leave, they make me a tea & parking is easy and free. Every appt has been a great experience. This is a fantastic place. My foot this morning was level 10 pain. Now after one treatment it is a 5! I am so lucky that I stumbled upon this business! Dr I'd do nice and knowledgeable. Put me at ease. I look forward to feeling better with their help! read more

Raah Acupuncture is the best! I found Dr. Justin Chung after 2 years+ of struggling with tiredness and lack of concentration + other issues. My regular doctor was completely unhelpful. I went to a different alternative doctor and it helped a bit, but then created other issues. Finally, a friend of a friend recommended Dr. Chung. And WOW! After a few sessions my health is back. Dr. Justin Chung is not only fantastic at what he does, but he listens to my concerns and answers my questions. I finally found a doctor I trust when it comes to my health. Every time I leave Raah Acupuncture, I not only feel better, but empowered in taking care of myself. Dr. Chung's assistant, Deborah, is also such a great presence. She always makes me feel welcome and I know I can trust her with everything I need. This place is a gem; if you are looking to be healthier and to find a doctor and team that is communicative and cares, I cannot recommend Raah Acupuncture enough. Oh, and I almost forgot to add...there is free parking :) read more

I love this place and wish I could go all the time! Justin and Karen and 2 of the nicest humans on the planet and they will make you feel very comfortable and welcome. I have gone through treatment here on two occasions and I have come back out on the other side so much better physically and mentally. Going to Raah completely took what I knew about Acupuncture to the next level, because Justin is a great teacher. He wants to make sure that you understand the approach and the treatment as well as the goals. They are not inexpensive, so best if you have insurance that covers them. read more

Justin is simply the best. I'll go see him having a list of ailments and leave feeling so much better than I did walking in. He really cares about his patients and wants to help them. Sometimes he'll give me herbs and tinctures depending on what's going on... I honestly don't know what they are but I trust his judgement so much I take them and it always helps! When I first started seeing Justin I had insomnia. After seeing him twice and taking some herbs I slept like a baby. I am still sleeping well years later thanks to him. My husband also goes to him (who doesn't really believe in natural medicine which is funny but he goes and sees him every time something is wrong). Justin has helped him with multiple issues, the most recent was heart palpitations.. a few visits and some herbs and his chest pain and palpitations were gone. If you are looking for a holistic accupuncturist and someone who is going to look out for you - Justin is amazing. I recommend everyone to him. His work ethic speaks for itself. As for the office - they have amazing communication, very kind and courteous.. they can usually find a way to fit you in with your schedule. read more

Justin and Karen are amazing. I have been getting acupuncture and capping with them for the past couple of years. It helped me with anxiety, difficulty to fall asleep Ans stay asleep and to release the tension in my neck and upper back. At the beginning (the first few months), I was going every other week, and later once a month. Today, I only go every few months to maintain the treatment. I am very satisfied! My GF had pains for about a good few weeks around her right buttocks to her mid thighs and so we came across Raah and saw the reviews and decided to pay a visit. The reviews were on point. Doctor Justin was very informative, courteous and professional. She had a Sciatica and it's something that is pretty common. We went in for 3 treatments and took herbal medicines (from Raah). She got a lot better We highly recommend Raah and hope this review helps those who are reading this! read more

I am one of the many sufferers of eczema and unfortunately, topical steroid withdrawal (TSW). Dr. Chung performs thorough assessment at each visit to strategically target my symptoms and the underlying issues - which fluctuates tremendously as I recover from TSW. He is always patient and takes his time to explain the purpose of each acupuncture point, as well as offers diet and herbal recommendations too. His assistant, Deborah, is also very caring and helpful - she handles all of your insurance/payment and scheduling questions. I always look forward to my acupuncture sessions as it is truly the only time I feel total relief and relaxation. I can't recommend Raah enough for any injury or ailment! read more

Justin healed me. I went to him for multiple health issues, the most important of which was a persistent gastrointestinal disorder. He took one look at my tongue, diagnosed me and started me on an acupuncture and herbal regimen that worked so well and so fast that I soon forgot I had any disorders to deal with, because the symptoms vanished. I continue to see him to help keep my immunity and my system strong. His holistic approach is exactly what I sought and am so grateful to have found him. He is extremely talented at both diagnosis and care. read more

Justin and Debra are my favorite people in Ktown. They are super knowledgeable and can already know what are some organs associated with my pain by performing their services. I didn't have to tell them! I came here for cervical spine issues/Herniated Disk on C6/C7. They are smart, fast, kind, and know more than just acupuncture. Come here and you'll see what I'm talking about. I will be back and thank you again for helping me treat my pain! read more

*UPDATE - Karen has reached out to me and apologized for the delay in follow up. I still have decided to try another acupuncturist, but do recommend this place.* First Impression: Justin, the acupuncturist, is very knowledgable in his practice. Our initial consultation consisted of a very thorough questionnaire and he explained everything that could be going on with my body. I came in for acne issues I'n having at the moment + hormone imbalance. We did cupping and acupuncture and I took a week of herbs home. After the treatment, his wife offered me tea and free chapsticks and a bar soap they all personally make which was super sweet. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to receive a call back after multiple calls on my end to schedule my 2nd appointment which is a bit disappointing. Will be going elsewhere as a result. For those who are able to schedule their appointment, I do recommend Justin for your needs. I can't speak on actual results, but based on just my initial visit, he seems to know a lot about the human body read more

I'm so lucky to have found Raah Accupuncture after a couple of decades of trying a number of different Acupuncturists with less than totally satisfactory results. Justin is truly gifted. He's knowledgeable, answers all my questions and takes the time to educate me to care for my body, mind and soul in the best possible way. More importantly, I get miraculous results from his treatments. I especially appreciate that he includes facial accupuncture, cupping and amazing customized herbal teas in his holistic approach to healing. His wife Karen Is a very talented Aesthetician and keeps my skin healthy and looking better than ever. Together this husband and wife team create a healing relationship in a welcoming, relaxing and caring environment. Simply the best! read more

I came to Raah after doing a Yelp search of acupuncture clinics. Since this was my first time doing acupuncture, I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. In addition, it's not easy for me to tell people that I suffer from anxiety and IBS. I had gone to my doctor at Kaiser, and he subscribed Lexapro to me to help me cope with daily life and control my IBS so I could work like normal again. After feeling sick and gaining weight on my new medication, I decided to try something new. Justin and Karen are undoubtedly the perfect people to be running this clinic. Together, they make the best duo. I love how everything they use is organic and how much passion they have for what they do. I leave Raah feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world again, and I don't think I ever really want to stop coming. Just be honest with Justin and Karen, and they will listen to your needs. The reviews and ratings here are well deserved. read more

I was recommended to come see Dr. Chung by a friend. I have always had skin issues (dermatitis). Dr. Chung definitely knows what he is talking about. He stimulates different meridian points with acupuncture, does cupping, and even massages your neck to release tension in the fascia muscles. I love that he uses magnetic seed ear therapy patches. They work very well. I always leave feeling lighter and very relaxed. Since I started coming here, my skin has improved drastically! Thank you Dr. Chung! :D read more

Raah Acupuncture - Treatment rm1 - Acupuncture Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Justin is a modern day shaman. He is a natural healer. I am so grateful to have come across this amazing gem of a human being. I can literally go on forever about how lucky I feel that I am able to be given his care. I am new to acupuncture and was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. The condition itself is super enigmatic and not a lot is known in western medicine about the cause, not to mention the cure. After a few doctors tried to cover up the problem with birth control and basically threw their hands up, I decided it was time to seek out natural healing. When I had my first consultation with Justin, it was a PROFOUND experience. Someone, finally, knew enough and cared enough to listen and explain the root cause of the issue. I knew the holistic approach to eastern medicine would align with my worldview, but I had no idea how powerful my journey with acupuncture would be. After seeing him for several weeks now, I have had so many different experiences on the acupuncture table. I am naturally very empathetic and sensitive to energy, and it's amazing to have an instant reaction to the needles. I am still only beginning this health journey, but I already feel amazing results. I feel more grounded, more myself, I have more mental clarity, and best of all so much less pain. I tell everyone about Raah Natural Care, and want everyone I care about to see Justin. My boyfriend is now his patient as well a couple of coworkers. Again, I can't say enough. I am so happy to see all of the other amazing reviews. To see someone sharing such a gift is inspiring. I know so much success and fulfillment lies ahead for him and his wife Karen. read more

Justin and his wife Karen are the perfect team. I've gone to a Justin for the past couple of years and I tell everyone about him. He is the best acupuncturist I've gone to and I've been going to the acupuncture since I was 14. I've gone for all sorts of issues but my latest was for a sciatica pinched nerve and also my shoulder. I went twice in a week and it's gone. Gone. He did massage, cupping and needles. I always feel so amazing and rested and positive when I leave his office. I recommend every one to go to him. read more

I've been seeing Justin for my skin and overall wellness. It's been great so far and it's always a relaxing process. I've done both acupuncture and cupping regularly last year and I saw my skin get less and less irritated and my overall mood got better. I've also seen Karen for facials and she's equally great. She did a facial massage on my sensitive skin and it was not irritating or abrasive at all. The massage on the face was so relaxing too. They are also the sweetest people. I recommend giving this skincare/health clinic a try! PS I realized that I meant to write this review last year and never finished. Hello Justin and Karen if you're reading this! :) read more

Thee best acupuncture I've ever received. Justin is in tune with things that need attention and is dedicated to educating and helping you maintain the best health for you. After reading the reviews I was very excited to see Justin and hopefully get some relief. Spoke to Justin on the phone and he asked me to send my insurance information. Got a call back from a young lady from his office just a few minutes ago and very turned off. She explained that my insurance contracts with a separate entity to pay the claim and even though I have a $5 copay- what the insurance covers (about $50) would only mean that my treatment would be for 15 minutes. What? I have never had any acupuncturist I've seen thru my PPO insurance tell me because of what the insurance pays, you're only going to get 15 minutes of treatment. I then asked "so your services are worth $200 an hour?" No reply. I was then told that I have the option for a "regular 1 hour treatment session" at additional cost. Where is treating the whole patient? I had not stepped one foot in the office or spoke to anyone face-to-face and I'm already told that "we accept your insurance.. but not really... and you need to pay more for real treatments". Thank you for the phone call as you saved me a lot of headache and frustration as I can see this was not going to be a good mix. read more
