After the planting was finished the two guys took a picture and sent it because Paul ( who we hired) was not on site at all on the one day that they planted. Additionally, Paul changed the contract and prices about five times and charged close to eight thousand dollars for fill ( which was not enough) and planting trees. The fill needed would complement what we already had and was not enough because more dirt and was needed for a successful planting project. Although we hired a landscaper and paid for a design, bringing and spreading some dirt and planting was the extent of the project. We definitely did not get our money's worth and felt extremely disappointed by someone we trusted would do a professional job. We would not hire Paul or Green Terrain to do any work for us ever again.

I politely asked them to not block my mail box with their trailer. (I tell them this every time) The Worker responds by moving it and jumping the curb, gouging my lawn with the trailer tire. I called the manager/boss and he refused to fix it with new sod and said all he would do is seed the damaged area. So now I have this 15' long brown streak across the front of my lawn. When they showed up for the estimate, they took pictures of all the work that was needed and as I pointed out things that I thought someone else would be needed, they said they could handle that too. Their estimate was very fair so I hired them right away. They came early, notifying me of their arrival beforehand and got to work right away. They took a hopeless yard that looked like a jungle and turned it into a yard that I hadn't seen since I moved into my house. The right side of the house, if you look at the pictures, was horrible. Now it's perfect! Not seen in the pictures is the left side of the house, where weeds were coming up through the concrete tiles, those are now all gone! My backyard patio also had bad weeds coming up and now you don't even notice anything bad was there. They are such great people too - fun to talk to and nice people. I decided to hire them to do maintenance on an ongoing basis because of how happy I am with their work. Danny from SDV Construction came over to give his estimate and had the great idea of paving around the pool instead of decking. After he explained how it would be done using concrete retainers. I thought this would definitely solve our tying in problem. We agreed on a timeline, a surprisingly affordable price and a three part payment. I was happy to see that this company was big enough to order all of the necessary materials prior to any payment. The next day a crew was in my yard and work was under way. The crew was very respectful of my yard and kept things neat as the worked progressed. Two weeks later, and the finished product speaks for itself. I am extremely happy with the way my yard turned out. Especially considering that bigger contractors were quoting me almost double what I paid SDV Construction.
