Despite knowing our criteria, Tom took us to houses that were well out of walking distance from downtown - those houses happened to be his own listings. Toward the end of our driving tour to houses, Tom drove the wrong way down a one way street (something that would not be an in issue in of itself) and when a man pointed it out to him, Tom got really mad, got out of the car, and threatened the other man. Kimberly Williams with McGrew real estate, she said I'll be glad to show it to you but the landlord requires a 600 credit score and yaddy yaddy yaddy.I said well that's not going to work for us and then I said can I tell you a little bit about us? she said yes so I told her my story and to my amazement she really cared she told me to write my story down and to email it to her and she would go to her client and see if she might make an exception and give our family a much-needed break. The next day she got back with me and told me the client did not want to rent with us I guess she's one of those that it's all about the money and not giving someone another chance I've never had an eviction and I've never owed anyone money on rent I just needed a little help. this is not where I wanted to be at 55.
