We received exceptional service from Dr. Richardson and his team. We had a cavity/baby tooth extraction with a small bacterial infection. They worked like an F1 pit crew while my daughter was in the chair to ensure the job was done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Everyone from the front desk, to the assistant and hygienist were absolutely incredible. I was telling my wife what a wonderful job they did at dinner tonight, and Dr. Richardson personally called us to check in on my daughter to see how she was doing; it was at 7:30pm! When does this guy stop working?! I love witnessing a master of any craft, and I can assure you this guy and his team are top notch. My daughter felt no pain, was able to watch cartoons during the procedure, and was sent home with goodies that made the dental visit seem fun instead of scary. I see most of the 1 star comments on here are due to the cost of the visit. Newsflash: dentistry is expensive in this country and your insurance is horrible! I paid with cash and got a discount. I would never recommend this pediatric dentist, not even to my worst enemy. Their office is nice and beautiful; but this guy is over the top drill happy. I was concerned about a cavity and it came back my son supposedly had 8 other cavities and then needed a baby root canal. All in all the charges were in excess of $3k. The anesthesiologist was awful, she traumatized more poor 2.5 yo at the time. I switched dentists after the fact. Beware, this guy does not have you or your child's best interest at heart... I wish I found my new dentist sooner. I would've saved myself thousands of dollars, headaches and traumatizing my child. read more

My two little ones (4yrs and 2yrs) had a dentist appointment here yesterday. This was my daughters first time being seen by a dentist and she did amazing! It was so convenient to have both children seen at the same time, in the same room, so I could be by both of them during their cleanings. Dr. Richardson and his staff are so kind and gentle and just do absolute wonders with children. Neither kids were ever anxious or scared , which is such a relief as a parent. All my kids have seen dr Richardson beginning 20 years ago. He and his entire staff are AMAZING. So patient and caring. They always are so kind and reassuring. I can't imagine going anywhere else. We came to doctor Richardson because my 6 year old had a toothache, and 2 weeks later ended up rushing back with my 10 year old due to a freak accident that left him with 5 broken/fractured teeth. BEWARE OF THIS MONEY HUNGRY DENTIST!!! I've been waiting a LONG time to write this review because though I wanted to be wrong, my Mom instinct was completely correct. I'll explain why. My children saw Dr. Richardson for about 3 or so years after reading his great Yelp reviews. The office is cute, the staff is friendly, and they "bribe" the kids with tokens to get little Oriental Trading company toys like bouncy balls and gummy bracelets out of gum ball machines when their appointments are over. All of which was fine. After every cleaning at least one of my two children had at least one cavity. Now when Dr. Richardson fills a cavity you have no choice but to do it with novocaine AND "happy gas". The nitrous "happy gas" is not covered by insurance, so that's about $100 out of pocket. So basically every cleaning led to another appointment where they could make more money. Once you're told you need a second appointment , you are whisked away into another room where the AP/AR lady goes over a list of what needs to be done, what's covered by insurance, and how much out of pocket will be. She is pushy, she goes fast, and is really good at what she does, which is draining as much money as possible out of you before you realized what's happened. The reason I now know this to be true is we have found a new pediatric dentist. He was also extremely highly rated on Yelp. Only he really is that good. My children have now visited him on 3 separate occasions for cleanings. Would you believe they haven't found a single cavity in a year and a half on either of my children?!?!?! I feel horribly guilty I didn't leave Dr Richardson sooner. I hate that I didn't listen to my mother's instinct. I feel awful that I made my children possibly go through the trauma of knowing they would have a cavity or 2 or 3 or 4 cavities every time they went to the dentist. All I can do is warn as many parents as possible to avoid this office at all costs. If your children are patients here and they always have cavities and need extra work done too, here's your validation you're not alone. read more

I just want to say thank you to doctor Richardson for taking such good care of my baby. Also to the staff that was kind. I was very nervous to have my daughter put it under anesthesia because she's so little. She has had problems with her teeth due to bottles. We could not wait any longer before the problem progressed. She had previous visit diagnosis elsewhere and I was just not comfortable or confident to have them work on her. I was referred to Dr Richardson by Dr Ukani which we have been going to for years and also have trusted. I'm so glad that he referred me to Dr. Richardson because they took really good care of her. So..... it is with a heavy heart that I write this. Two children have been patients since age 4. Dr Richardson is amazing, however over the past 10 years his FINANCE staff Mercedes has continually billed incorrectly causing delinquent bills. Her lack of knowledge causes hurt to parents. As years past, we ignored due to the Dr. that is great but I can no longer subject myself or my children to being "flagged" on their charts due to balances due that were in fact paid due to the laziness of the finance staff. If you do not use insurance, Dr. Richardson staff is amazing. Their billing person is not up-to-date on her medical billing and doesn't have the same integrity as the dental staff. read more

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new dentist for my son. We have now been to the office 4 times and each visit has been so great. Especially since my son has had quite extensive dental work and isn't the biggest fan. Everyone is very friendly, they explain to my son what they are going to do, and how it is going to feel. My daughters were once patients of Dr. RICHARDSON. About a year ago we decided to switch dentist. Dr. Richardson is very kind but he does treatments that are unnecessary. We have great dental insurance. I discovered today that Richardson used our orthodontist insurance for treatment that wasn't necessary. So don't be blinded by his kindness. Pay attention and ASK questions. If your gut tells you this isn't right search out another dentist. Get another opinion. If you don't mind blowing money and putting your kids through unnecessary pain and treatment he is your guy. So disappointed. read more
