I'm laughing at myself. I don't know why I thought reliving my college days by going to a bar in College Park would be a good idea. First of all, the whole place was sticky. The bar tables, bar stools, door knobs, cups. I mean everything was sticky and everything even looked sticky (I didn't know that was possible). On top of that, it smelled horrible. All I could smell was urine and a lot of random not so pleasant smells. The only silver lining was the cheap drinks. Don't be like me and try to relive your college days. There's a reason it's called your past. Lol

This is basically a college bar, but not like a nice college bar like Looneys. The place looks dirty and is sticky. The service was good and the staff were nice, but the food is not good. Chili is sweet. Sweet chili is gross 1/10 Fried pickles were okay but not really good 5/10 The French dip was not good at all, just tasted bland and had a slight weird taste that I couldn't pinpoint. 4/10 Even the Miller lite draft tasted a little watered down. I suppose if you were a college kid and wanted to come here drinking it would be fine, but other than that, I'd recommend skipping this place.

What a neat place. Tons of memorabilia on the walls, lots of charm between the walls. Ordered the crab cake sliders and was very pleased. A bit too much bread, but that's why they give you a fork. Fries were excellent, too. Service was quick and very friendly. Would not hesitate to come here again.

As we start to tackle the college search for kid #2 I get to tackle the restaurant choices...and this will be fun. At an unplanned stop at the University of Maryland (where Wifey and I met) we decided to also grab an early lunch at one of our old hangouts - Bentley's. It actually hasn't changed much in 20+ years, which is a good thing I suppose. Service was still slow, but the food was still good. We started with some Fried pickles and Wifey and I went old school with a couple of Natty Boh's. My daughter had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and a Grilled cheese (kid is an athlete and has the metabolism of a hummingbird); Wifey had the Lug nuts crab cakes (basically crab cake sliders); my son took a chance on the Salmon BLT; and I had the Mark VI burger with bacon and cheddar. In a nutshell, the service was very slow-especially since the place was empty. It wasn't the server's fault...food just took forever When it got to us the food was very good. Burger was a little overdone, but not ruined or anything. Crab cakes were pretty tasty and both kids liked their meals. Overall a pretty good meal...oh yeah, Natty Boh is as terrible as I remember!

My friend and I were in the area and stopped by here for a drink. Given it was 2 pm on a Friday, it was absolutely dead. Like so dead there was barely even service. The place looked closed. I guess I'm over my college drinking stage, but this place was pretty dirty. The bathroom smelled soo bad even though it looked decently clean. The prices were unbeatable though. $20 with tip for fries and two drinks! I probably wouldn't come back here again, but my college self probably would.

$7.00, for both! In the basketball stadium it would be $9 for one!

Fun alumni bar, cheap beer, sticky floors, but if you get a table, the food is pretty decent. They have good patio seating in the front. Highly frequented by students, so can get really busy on Fri and Sat nights.

French dip lug nuts on point

Great food and better bartenders! Brady, Jamie, Jenna, Luis, and Evan make this place absolutely amazing!!

Looks like it might get crowded on weekends or for sporting events. TV's ring the perimeter with lots of choices. We had an excellent Crab Cake BLT with fries and a beautiful piece of Honey Salmon. We ordered the Fresh Rye Bread that hit the spot and finished with good Bread Pudding. Everything was spot on! I have done a review on the College Park Hotel Cambia that houses PrimeTime. She was a ray of sunshine and gave us help in deciding on menu items. We both ordered salads. I ordered the crab and shrimp Louis salad. And, my friend ordered a chicken salad. Our salads were huge, fresh, and delicious. I really liked the fresh veggies and poached shrimp. I also liked the surprise sprinkle of Old Bay on my seafood. I wasn't a fan of the crabmeat. The dressing was delicious too. My friend liked her chicken salad. She did say her chicken was a little dry. But, she loved all of the fresh veggies and ended up taking the leftovers home. I also ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious. I mean come on now, you combine Oreo's and cheesecake, that is a winning combination and the whipped cream was amazing. The restaurant itself was bright, colorful, and full of sea themed decor. The booth was comfortable and you get 3 hours of free parking in the garage. Again, thanks Fatima for your excellent service. We will definitely be back.

We had the Chicken Ceasar salad (8/10) and Braised Short ribs (8/10). The salad was a standard salad and the short ribs were tender. I enjoyed the short ribs with the mashed potatoes and substituted the brussel sprouts with broccoli. I think the broccoli could've been seasoned to improve. We both had two of their $10 specialty cocktails. Both were excellent.

I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer

Food wise, I had their grilled oysters, brussel Cesar, fried chicken curry dish, trifle dessert, and sorbet. As a non-seafood person, it was a big deal for me to try their oysters. I started slow with just their grilled oysters. They were drowning in garlic and butter, so it was hard not to like. The Brussel cesar was also a solid shareable. I appreciated that the salad did not come drenched in dressing. The curry friend chicken was phenomenal! The chicken fell of the bone so easily and was so crispy, moist, and overall outstanding. The curry and impossible rice paired perfectly with it. Finally, the desserts! I could have eaten two of the trifle dessert...it was smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweet. It was everyone's favorite between the two. The sorbet was good, but I found the white chocolate a little weird/awkward since it was sitting around a bunch of cold sorbet...didn't melt or mesh well with the dish. At first I was disappointed when I saw they took off my favorite appetizer, so I ordered the Cripsy Calamari Appetizer instead. So as I am waiting my waitress had stopped by twice to ask me if I was ready to put in my entree and every-time I had to tell her no as I haven't even gotten my appetizer yet. This rubbed me the wrong, I felt like I was being rushed and that didn't make sense as this was on a Thursday at 1 pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Now the patio seating was lovely and I truly enjoyed basking in the sun while sipping on my Sauvignon Blanc, I have so many memories from DTS and it was nice to be in the area again. Anyways my Appetizer came and it was sooo good. I loved the fried jalapeños in the mix it really gave a nice kick to my Calamari. I decided to order the Shrimp Tempura Roll which is a new addition to the menu but whew this is where it went left. It was NOT good, drenched in sauce and fish eggs ... and the presentation of the roll looked sloppy and rushed especially considering one roll didn't even have Shrimp in it. There was barely any cucumber inside ... on top of all that they still gave me side dippings too... I ate 1 roll and it was nasty and too much. When I told my waitress I didn't like it and explained why she just said ok and walked away. It was very clear to me she did not care and so it's very clear to me that I won't be going there ever again.

I don't know where to start... We had some unexpected dinner rolls before the first course, and the way the butter with them was presented was beautiful -- look at that green swirl! And then I got the beets... I have to say I really love golden ones! And my gf got the ceviche... Loved the touch of passion fruit in there. Then I got the crab roe rice and tasted my gf's chawanmushi. Now, the third course... I think the sablefish was my favorite. Never had it before, and I loved the flavor! Loved the sweet potatoes and the curry. I loved the ricotta on my gf's duck tagliatelle -- that was a great dish too. The chocolate cake & toffee pudding were winners for dessert. And then we had these little surprise bites that reminded us of gourmet fruit leather. In between each course, plates and utensils were swapped, and the table was wiped down. When we would go to the bathroom, our napkins would be folded in the most elegant fashion (I should've taken a pic). This was definitely an elevated experience, and I think it's the coolest thing. I'm looking forward to having more outings like this... Oh did I mention I had a cocktail with tom yum?! What a unique experience. I gotta get my wallet right for more of this...
