As well as, the smell from carpets getting wet due to the heavy rains. All the set in spots came out!! They were able to get the water out of the carpets and eliminate the odor. We have had an awful experience with Niemanns Flooring. We spent thousands of dollars with Niemann…read moreflooring and are just in awe of what they have done to our brand new home. The floor installers cut up our door jams and Niemanns tried to conceal them, but it did not work. They ripped the flooring out and laid it again,(which was a huge inconvenience to us as we needed to move into our new home) but now we are having major problems with it. We signed a contract with a two year labor warranty. Niemanns is offering to fix only one board and half of the floor needs fixed as it is pulling away from the wall and crowning in areas. My door jams are still left cut up and they refuse to acknowledge them. The owner has cussed my husband out and posted my name and address on public sight. I have found out from past customers that they have had bad experiences with them also. Wish I had known this before we spent so much money with them. We are only asking for the money we spent on labor so we can have our floor fixed correctly and the owner of Niemanns refuses to give that back. Still the owner has evaded our costly door jam issues. How can a business take your hard earned money ( thousands) and then act like you did something wrong?! People do not do business with Niemanns Flooring unless you want to live a nightmare! Don't get me wrong, we love the actual carpet. We were sold on a lifetime guarantee and we have gotten our carpets cleaned just like the warranty required. Well, within 2 years we had to have it re-stretched because it was "bubbling" up. If that wasn't bad enough, it needed to be res-stretched again in a couple more years. I have never heard of having to do that every couple of years! The first time Niemann's paid for it but the next time they quoted us nearly $900 to come and re-stretch our living room carpet. I argued for months and made many calls including a carpet inspector from out of state. They all agreed it was the installation that had caused the problem. I have left messages for the owner to call me and he never returns my calls. Therefore, we have had a professional carpet guy come and re-stretch it. It looks great and he said it wouldn't have to be done again. He also said that it was the initial installer hadn't stretched it properly when the carpet was first laid. A few months ago I had asked Niemann's about that installer and they said they had 3 more installers since that person. So, that tells me they do have installation problems. I am writing this to let future carpet buyers know that they aren't getting what they are told when they buy from Niemann's. Their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on! I will NEVER buy from them again and will tell everybody about this bad experience.

Things were broken and tried to be hid from us, thousands of dollars spent on repairs on things that were broke due to his lack of caring. John actually sat and told my husband and myself that he was just trying to cut corners and save money. We had a dishwasher leak in our home causing major damage to floors and drywall, this man was trying to just slap new drywall up with screws and not tape and mud and not paint stating that we could just buy wider baseboards. Then the company he called to get cheap removal of our HVAC and Hot water heater units blew our hot water heaters and did not take out properly that cost us over $7,000.00. He broke all of our baseboards and then tried to DUCK TAPE them back together and threw them in our garage on TOP of our glass top range which also had to be replaced due to him. Also had to call in a cleaning company as he did not seal off ANYTHING in our home properly and had drywall dust and not to mention whatever one of his workers left in out toilet that was deemed hazardous material by the cleaning company that we had to hire ourselves to clean HIS MESS!!! Also having to replace furniture as he put our things in storage pods in the yard with no care at all and actually used DUCT TAPE to tape drawers on wood furniture shut..... Had to pay out of pocket for the storage pods and actually spoke to the owner of the storage pod company and he has stopped renting to this company due to NON PAYMENT from this man as he doesnt pay and then makes the homeowners pay the bill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Do research he closed his buisness that was 911 restoration due to bad reviews and being a shady person and opened under the Restoration Connection.
