The very next day George contacted me to follow up with the install. He was extremely helpful and caring and worked on replacing the thin carpet with a plush version. I offered to pay for the extra install labor but George refused my offer. I am completely satisfied with the plush carpet and great outcome. I was misguided by Carpet King's salesman Bob about a carpet I selected. I asked if this type of…read moreweave would be ok with my cat. Bob then picked up the sample and with his fingers showed me how tight the weave is and that he couldn't see how my cat could get his claws under the loops. This was grosslyl negligent on his part because almost immediately my very docile Persian cat, who has never damaged anything in our home, has destroyed our living room and bedroom carpets. $4,000 dollar wasted.

Dave took the time to understand our lifestyle and needs (dogs, etc.) to guide us through our stair runner options for our grand staircase, back stairs, and stairs to the mudroom. Our style didn't match, but Dave's knowledge of everything carpet made him an invaluable resource. He let us borrow as many samples as we wanted. We made several trips to swap out the samples until we narrowed down our perfect carpets. Once we found them there was no going back. We price matched these exact carpets at another carpet shop and Dave's prices were very competitive. The purchasing, communication, measurement, removal, and installation processes were all seamless. They even disposed of our old runners for us. Can you find cheaper options in Home Depot? Absolutely. What will you find there? Boring and generic carpets. At Carpet City we found truly unique runners that would be impossible to find at mass market retailers. If you want a unique and high quality carpet this is the place to go. We've had our runners for over 6 months now and we love them more and more with each passing day. They're holding up quite nicely with two dogs and frequent use.
