Even that slightly sawdust scent that goes with hardware stores. Now, this store does not carry the reputation of two that I have reviewed before. But if I lived in Wimborne, I'd be a happy camper. Collandars, graters, knives, tupperware, caddies, drainers, cookwareand then hammers, nails, screws, and thingummies. They also do garden furniture, indeed, there was a very rustic looking one on display outside. I really could have spent ages snooping around, but hey ho, time is the master of our lives. No fifth star because there seems nowher to park, so how are you going to lug your goods to the car?

In addition this store provides a short cut from one side of town to the other, so it would be rude not to have a rest in the lovely suites. They also sell carpet, and theres a selection of bedlinen. You can spend ages in here, best not to, go with a purpose and if it's not there try somewhere else. They are helpful, but I don't think they deliver.

The garden centre itself does not come across as being that friendly, there are signs everywhere - no dogs, no cycles in the garden centre (who would ride their bike through there), children should be well supervised, no climbing on the fence, etc etc. I did not find the service that friendly in the shop to be honest. However, all that aside if you fancy a little trip out to the country for a nice cup of coffee and a wander through the plants then it's worth a visit. It doesn't get five stars as they could improve their over all service in the garden centre - the coffee shop is very lovely and welcoming.
