A tech came out on May 6th because the door was not open and the tech opened and closed the door…read moremanually while I was there and didn't say anything and then looked at the motor and said it need to be replaced. He told me what to get. So I got what he told me. On May 13, he came and worked on replacing it. He still did not say anything 2 hours later until I asked if he was done. Then he said yes but the door hit the up door frame. I told him that it didn't hit the door frame before. Not sure why he got upset and was trying to say that I was accusing him and called his boss. Then said the Spring is wrong and the door was installed wrong by previous technician. He pointed to other small garage door that said it was wrong also and stormed out. This door had been working well for years since I bought house in 2010 until the motor stopped working. If it was always like that, the door would be all managed. Only after he did the replacement the door hitting the frame. Replacing the motor might require some adjustment on the door or track to make the door works well but instead he was trying to argue with me and trying to blame this and that. The next day the other technician came and spend a 15,minutes to adjust and replaced one of the hinges and it works and that was done for free. This could have been better if the first tech just said it was not my fault but I'll try to adjust it for you and if there was something else that needs to replace you pay for it. I would be happy with and pay more for him if there is anything that needs to be done as I need the door to work. I feel this is totally unnecessary and uncalled for. I appreciate the company to send another tech out to do adjustments for me. So this review is not reflected on the company but the that one technician. If his was handled properly I would be happy to give them a 5 star but for that I gave them 4

RCS Door Service not only sold me the best doors anyone made for a great price (much better than the best Costco had at the time), but in the years from then until I sold the place, all four of the new Garage Doors opened and closed with ease every single time... The remote control ones worked perfectly, and the manually lifted ones out back felt lighter than a shopping bag of groceries!! Plus, all the doors had such good insulation, that honestly, my dad's little shop building out back seemed warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer with no heating or cooling at all, and everything stored out there stayed clean and like new. The owner and his employees were respectful, patient, professional, hard working, and really knew how to install those big doors correctly. I am especially thankful to RCS Door Service, because too many people took advantage of me or my parents during that time.
