Working with Gold Star Garage Door was a five star experience!! Someone ran into my garage door Saturday and it looked hideous. First thing Monday morning I took to Yelp to find a solution (which was also easy). Gold Star responded to my request for quote within MINUTES. I got a home visit with a quote within HOURS and a new, beautiful door the NEXT DAY. Fast, easy, professional, affordable. Very well done. read more

Thank you so much Gold Star! Exceptional service! We needed a new opener installed at a property and we called Gold Star to inquire about their services. Bobby arrived the next day per our request and was prompt, knowledgeable, neat, and clearly an expert. We were shocked at how neat the wiring was and how much time, attention, and thought went into the install. We even received an orientation to the new opener when he was done. The price was also beyond reasonable for the amount of work he did. Bobby will always be our go to for garage door services in Modesto. Thank you again, Bobby! read more

A few months ago, I had one of those days that was a comedy of errors. The power went out and I was hungry. My stove is electric. I manually opened the garage door to go get something to eat. Get in the car, and my 2-year old car won't start. Try to manually close the door and a roller pops out of the track & I can't close it all the way, and it was a Sunday. Based on reviews, I called this business to try to get out to fix my garage. He was there in about an hour, very friendly and professional, and had the job done in no time, and at an extremely reasonable price, with no Sunday surcharge added on! I highly recommend him for your garage door needs. Incidentally, the car was just the battery, which I figured, and the power while waiting for the door repairman, so a bad day did get better. read more

My garage door came off its track because of a cable issue. Called someone else who wanted a minimum fee plus 100 to fix. Used the yelp app to send out responses multiple people. He responded very quickly and had me call him. He was on another job quoted me 1.5 hours but was there in half that. Come over and got to work right away. He got the job done in about 45 minutes. Adjusted the door, greased the bar for the opener, fixed the track issue. All for a very reasonable price. Many others wanted to schedule later in the week, he was there the same day. He didn't up sale on anything or pressure into getting something I didn't want. I will be using him when I am ready for a new door. Thanks again for your awesome customer service read more
