We had several glitches due to the manufacturer of our front door entranceway that caused large delays and multiple trips for us to Delaware (we are not fulltime resident) to complete everything. Our frustration was shared by Anatoly who perservered throughout and adapted to what the Masonite company presented. He kept us informed of what was happening. His work is good and his price was very competitive. Despite the frequent setbacks caused by Masonite I would still recommend Solid Construction for any work. I would recommend shying away from Masonite products due to very poor customer service.

Hardie has very specific installs guidelines Which the architect had told me about. Chris said he was familiar with Hardie and knew how to hang in. the siding was bowing all the way up the house on all sides, could not replace individual boards per the certified home inspector that looked at the project and had to hire another company to fix it all who is certified Hardie installer. So in July of 26, we had to redo the entire house, take out every window and rehang, redo the moisture barrier, re-caulk the windows, replace all the rotten wood from water inclusion at a cost of $100,000. It's been a disaster and a very expensive fix. i would not recommend this company.

The plumbers Fernando and Brian are also fantastic and they did a nice job installing our water filtration system and water softener. Randy and his crew built us a beautiful 4 seasons room, installed ship lap ceilings in multiple rooms with real wood beams in three rooms. Delaware Home Improvements also transformed our builder grade laundry room into a beautiful laundry room with quartz countertop and real wood cabinets. They also painted the interior of our house and repaired the imperfections left by the builder's drywall finishers. Some of the other upgrades they completed include installing a water softener, additional interior lights , upgraded bathroom fan, and a Cambridge paver patio with lighted seating wall and columns. We purchased a house in Lewes that needed a new roof. The lender and the insurance company wanted…read morethe new roof installed immediately, at soon as the house closed. We live far away so we had to interact with the roofing companies from across the country. The seller's realtor sent a quote. We spoke to the contractor. Just unimpressed. He said we could buy a 1 year guarantee from him, oh on second thought he would throw it in. So we called 4 other roofers for bids. One guy said we can get you a bid in a couple of weeks. Another could give us the bid, and did, about 10 days later. That left us with 2 companies. Bayside Exterior and C&M. The first to get out and do the bid. C&M. The best price for the job. C&M. The most thorough explanation of what was available. C&M. Their bid for the lowest level roof was right in the middle. Their bid for the highest quality roof was close to Bayside's but they gave us a 10 year guarantee. So we signed with them with a little trepidation because you should never use price as the only reason to go with a company. The job they did was fantastic. The whole experience was fantastic. They arrived every day on time, the same guys. It was obvious that it was a construction team and not just some random workers. They cleaned up during and after their work every day. We have had remodeling done three times on our house in CA and every day we had to clean up. Nope never had that problem with C&M. The team was courteous, quiet, considerate, fastidious and they worked hard - all day long. It is a BIG roof. They did the tear down and replacement in 10 days. They did additional repairs & the cost was never a surprise. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. I have a maintenance company that does work on a monthly basis and they were impressed by the quality of the work and the professional standard of the employees. So much so that they referred some of their customer to C&M. Neighbors came by and they were impressed. I cannot say enough good things about this company and we have done a great deal of remodeling. Was everything perfect? Of course not. My list of gripes? They parked in front of my garage door two times but moved within minutes of me asking. I wanted to pay in full before I left but they would not let me. That was a bit of a headache but their office was as great as their roofers when we had a problem. I hope the guys read this review and know that we have never been happier with a contractor. If only our other jobs had gone so smoothly. And I would post pictures if I was not technically inept. But I would give C&M 6 stars if I could.
