See I use a 10 trip since I don't commute often and also use a 10 trip on the Metrolink just for those days that I have to stay after work. So 24 hours prior to this incident I did call the TAPTOGO center and reloaded my TAP card. So this morning lo and behold card doesn't work. Driver giving me an attitude and gets me embarrassed in front of the whole bus. I told her that I'm not going to gain anything by cheating them over $7 that I had paid for already. She mentioned it may take up to 48 hours for the payment to post. I've got no proof of my fare, blah, blah, blah. So basically I'm out $76, embarrased, and off the bus. Then she afterwards feels bad and decides to just let me on. I'm like forget it. You've embarrased me enough and I get to be remembered by the rest of the passengers as the guy who didn't pay. I've got good ol Metrolink train to save me. Why do I even bother with the bus. Well the commuter bus is a lot faster than the train to go to L.A. So for those wanting to use this mode of transportation, just watch out.

Service is trash I'm always paying for my trip and other people gets to ride for free I'm not even…read moreBlack Racist Bus driver! Worst service it's ok for them not paying not cool at all

We all looked at each other and said we must go down the hill! So we got there we saw a bunch of cops and we all freaked out because we had been drinking, but we remained calm and parked as quickly as possible. They had a whole celebration, lights music and characters all over the place. I guess it's an annual thing they have. They had a really good live bad, like you know the high school bands, it was good. They had a play on the train. Every holiday character was there example: Frosty, rudolph, they even had Elvis! (i know he is not a holiday character) The Train was exploding with lights and decor. really if you are in the area worth going with your family check with the city when they have it. I'm going back next year with my entire family. If you live in the area you know very well there is not much to do and this my friends is a little distraction in your town. Merry Xmas!

This Metrolink station has loads of free parking, charging stations for EVs, handicap spots for persons with disabilities, public phones for use... An office never seems to be open... Almost like a prop lol as well as plenty of Kiosk to purchase Metrolink rider tickets and maps to guide you on your journeys... The mobile app is definitely your friend as well. It's never too busy here, which is nice, even being on the directly next to the Orange line station hub, the lot traffic, if any is always smooth and steady off Devonshire Street/ Canoga Avenue, just across for an amazing Anytime Fitness, Ralphs, Dollar Tree, Paint with A Twist (paint & sip spot) and a few other familiar as well as local small businesses in one lot... plus a Holiday Inn Express just past the intersection. He was throwing a temper tantrum arguing with Metrolink passengers and completely abandoned his job. I was standing right there with a valid, paid Amtrak ticket, and he rudely ignored me, refused to scan my ticket, and literally LOCKED the doors in my face before taking off. This pure negligence left me stranded and cost my business a massive $1,000 professional fee. Total ghetto management of a shared station. Unprofessional, hostile, and utterly pathetic. Avoid this chaotic joke of a transit hub.

For example, I took the van all summer from Arcadia (about 35 miles east of Westwood), and we left at 6:40 every morning and arrived on campus at 7:30. We left campus at 5pm and got home at 6pm. The bus drivers are nice, as are the other riders (everyone chats a little), and everyone's really responsible about letting others know their ride schedules and what days they plan to show up. If you ever need to ride to UCLA on a regular basis, this is absolutely the way to go. The "part time" tickets (basically one way pay-per-ride tickets) are a little expensive relative to the monthly fees, but still less expensive than the cost of gas. Plus, both rides are much faster than driving myself. This service is for responsible people. We have never been more than five minutes off schedule, so there is definitely no waiting around for people to come. Make sure you're on time! The only trouble right now is that there seems to be too few vans. I guess it's impossible for UCLA Transportation to have half-filled vans full of part time riders, but know that as a part time rider you're not always going to have a seat. It's best to check with the driver(s) the night before. And it gets really cold on the vans, which I love but understand that some people hate. All in all, love this service. It's perfect.
