This is the absolute worst company you could place your business with! The owner is an absolute crook! We paid $3,000 to have them download our data to transfer it to our new management company. The files don't work and they want to charge us another $1,000 to figure out why they aren't qualified in their jobs. Their management platform is pathetic. That's why we left. DO NOT PUT YOUR AGENCY'S BUSINESS/INFORMATION IN THEIR HANDS! I am an agency principal (and attorney) based out of California. Several years ago, I started a contract with Quomation. When their agency management system product (Power Manage) began to fail, they advised me to move to their newer, more updated platform called Agency Stream. From the get-go, it was clear Quomation had rolled this new product out prematurely. There were many, ongoing problems and it lacked functionality. Unfortunately, I had agreed to allow them to transfer all of my Power Manage data to Agency Stream. After two years of trying to work with Quomation on Agency Stream, I requested a cancellation. Near the end of the 6-month cancellation period, I attempted to initiate the data transfer process to our new platform. I was informed that Agency Stream did not have transfer capability and my data (internal file notes, documents, time stamped endorsement transactions) would be held by Agency Stream. Quomation should be held legally accountable for all the privately-owned data they have wrongfully retained without developing a mechanism for transfer. DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS with Quomation, move on to a better provider and count yourself lucky that you do not have to hassle this company. read more

Run don't walk! We signed up for Power Manage, Quomation's agency management system. This insurance agency management system is atrocious. First of all Quomation needs to stick to running a personal lines rater and get out of the management system business. The number of hours we have spent dealing with their rude and unprofessional tech support is insane. The simplest of tasks result in 2 hours of trying to get their techs to figure out what the issue is. In our small agency of 5 people, they had us running on two separate cloud servers which resulted in some information not matching. My biggest fear is this management system lack of reliability and functionality creates huge E&O exposures. Our entire staff is extremely good with technology, in some cases we had to teach their tech support where to look to find the fix. I had asked to speak with the owner of a manager.....good luck! Once you buy and sign the contract your stuck and good luck trying to move your data! They couldn't tell us with any certainty how much of the data from accords, to notes, to accounting would be available on the disk of our downloads. We had to hire interns to manually enter every piece of data to our new management system.....it cost thousands! read more

: They get 1 star, only because you can't give negative ones. Absolutely the worst customer service we've ever dealt with. Make sure you read and reread your contract with these guys. They breached there contract by getting hacked, and not having enough security to stop them. They were down, and we were forced to change rating systems in order to keep writing new business. We never received a call or email stating what was wrong. No ETA when they'd be up again. They sue us for another 3 months of service even though it's 100% there fault we had to change, and could not use them anymore. We did business for 18 years with these people, and we'll never speak again. I will let every agent we know, and every agent thinking of changing over to agency steam how we were treated. I know for a fact many other agencies feel the same way with Quomation. You can get way better software for the same price if you shop around. Supporting this company for as long as we did was one of the biggest mistakes. Save yourself the headache and stress and go with a company who actually cares about their customers. One with enough security to stop from being hacked. Also, be prepared if you buy the management system to pay him if you ever wanna get your information back. They absolutely had no idea what they were doing. I signed up after speaking to a sales person to make sure this would work for Networked wholesaler, they couldn't take payment or install for over a week. By the time i got someone to install the rater. They put it on a cloud in a last attempt to have me call to get passwords, because the wholesaler I work with DOESN'T work with them. So still after all that. Not being able to quote any companies that i can actually write.Even by their own admission could not obtain passwords. They still refused to give me my money back. After a complaint to the BBB which they have an F rating, they still wont give me back my money. There was absolutely NOTHING that i could use there service for. They knew that. wow - i just switched my management and rating system over to Quomation and it is the real deal. The servers they have to host my software are incredible and I can access them from anywhere. no more spending money to upgrade my server because these guys do it for me. i also love the accent neutral english speaking support team they have. their call center is based in the U.S. - thanks! read more

just left farmers insurance to try my luck at being an independent agent. i got Agency Stream to do the multiple quoting thing. it does work so i am happy so far. the price is very affordable. now all i got to do is build my book of business up. read more

as an insurance professional i have been privy to the works and accuracy of more than a few insurance raters. and all except quomation seem to know and understand the necessity of accuracy. quomation promised the best at the lowest cost. they sell you what you want to hear, and they entice you with an offer that no other insurance rating company can or will offer. then in their contract they make it clear no refunds what so ever. now i know why that is. in my opinion they cant keep clients and that down they charge everyone to test the waters is what keeps them afloat. i was unhappy with their product within the 1st 15 days, they supposedly were working fast and hard to fix the issues. and after they got one of the many things fixed, they called it a day and said they were done, when the most important issue was left unresolved. they could not get an accurate quote for infinity. the quote was not off by a few dollars but more like a couple hundred dollars. other companies like turbo rater at least offer you a full refund and sadly companies like fsc are just to expensive for a new venture agency. currently i have made a complaint about quomation to the bbb where nothing was done and now i have sent a complaint to the department of insurance. all this trouble for 120.00 that quomation feels they are entitled to. my advice stay far away from this company. their product is not what they promise and their service representatives may be nice but their product is no better than an educated guess for company rates. read more
