Despite decent service (by German standards) and a lively ambiance, my el pollo quesadilla was terrible. It was sitting in a pool of unknown liquid (juices from meat, salsa, and tomatoes?) and lacking flavor. When I peeled back on part of the quesadilla's tortilla, I found an entire half of a tomato (pictured) with no apparent attempts to cut it. The salad accompanying the quesadilla was smothered in dressing - so much that I had to scrape some of it off the leaves. I understand that Germany's geographic disposition might not be conducive for high quality Mexican ingredients, but that has nothing to do with properly cutting a tomato or draining excess liquid from an entree. Very disappointing! The restaurant's only saving grace was their house brewed beer. It was cheap, flavorful, and - on a hot Leipzig evening - refreshing.

I will not go back and I was very disappointed at the quality. But yet again, you get what you pay for and in Germany I get the feeling people really put high pressure on lowering prices, tough market so sadly quality ends up sacrificed.

This restaurant is 400m from my flat and i was actually daily customer and spending a lot of money…read morethere, but after what happened with me tonight i will come back to this not respectable restaurant ! Totally not recommended. I order chicken Cesar salad with my beer , after long time i got my salad but it was the shock even I didn't touch it I smelled something strange in the salad , like a dirty fish inside, i asked the not kind waiter with the black hair to change for me the salad for something else , in the end after i finish I asked for the bill , and this waiter asked to paid 385 kč for salad and beer but she included the dirty fishy salad the i bring it back !! She told me we are sorry its not our problem that you didn't like !! For me it was shock to talk with clients in this way specially when she know me that I don't care on the money !!
