I told one of the sales women (I think she was the manager) over and over that I didn't want to try on a certain item, yet she brought the item to my dressing room and hung it on my dressing room rack anyway (are you kidding me?!). I eventually bought an item that was too snug for me and took it home, only to have to return it after I came to my senses. Now I have a store credit I have to use (no refunds) so I will have to go back, if only to use up the cost of my folly listening to someone who was only interested in selling me something, not whether or not it looked good on me. Thank goodness for one of the other sales consultants who ran interference with the manager, so I didn't have to tell her over and over - No, thank you. Once should have been enough. I was left standing around waiting for her to reappear, having no one zip, clip and/or tie up the dress. She wanted to argue with me about the style I liked, but only to correct the words I used to describe it. What's the point of that? She didn't smile once, seemed irritated with my presence, told me I should figure out what I actually like/want before I try on any more dresses. Isn't that how you find out what you like/want in a wedding dress? By trying some on? I'm a size 8, but she'd pulled a size 16 in one style. I know they are sized different from regular clothes, so I put it on anyway and it was ridiculously huge and sloppy. For a woman who is supposed to know her stuff, this was nuts! She only pulled about 4 dresses for my entire appointment. I was out of there within 30 mins. Ugh. Never again. I was in great spirits walking in and felt like crap when I left - not a single positive word out of her mouth. There was actually one dress I really liked, but if I decide I want to try that dress on again, I'll find it elsewhere because there's NO way I'm giving this shop my business.

This store does not sell cheap fast fashion clothing...if that's what you need, go to H&M. You will only find the very best in quality on their racks. The decor inside is done with rustic charm, including fine local artwork and antiques. How someone could find this offensive tells me only one thing, they have their own agenda and are out to sabatage this lovely family owned business. As mentioned before, I shop in this store several times a month and will continue to do so. Sometimes I just stop in to see the owners who are always welcoming and fun to visit. Stodgy? lol... I don't think so! I just can't image anyone saying something this awful about such lovely people. I'm also not sure what crime they are committing by being open everyday? Isn't that a convenience rather than an issue?
