Last second minor changes were seamlessly completed without a delay nor "you want us to change that" response. They also do not nickel & dime you to death. Minor changes were absorbed. Larger requests were added at a very reasonable increment to the project cost. Would I use them again, "yes." In fact, I plan to have LOTX review my backyard and propose how to redo it.

He submitted a bid the next day as he said he would. His bid was the middle of 3. The job required a very quick turnaround - he said he could get it done in the time allotted and he did. He is a meticulous craftsman who knows what he's doing; he has an excellent work ethic. His bid/bill was well thought out, not just a ballpark. When we provided paint he had expected to purchase, he backed it out of the cost. When we asked him to install a plug where we had not originally planned, he added it in. Oh, and he cleaned up each day of the job, which accounts for a lot when the job is in the middle of your house! Bottom line: we thought he was great and will definitely use him again! * Job included installing 4 windows, moving around electrical, installing sheetrock, trimming it out and painting.

Told me it would take one day it took 5 days (weather was not an issue). Tore down 2 sides of fence and had a mess everywhere - even in the neighbor's yard (see pic - I was worried that someone would get hurt with the exposed nails.) And left the side open to neighbors for 2 days. Did not haul off all the old posts. Had asked them to use screws (multiple times and was assured they would) when putting the panels back on - they used a nail gun mostly and some of the panels are already falling off (it has been only a couple days). They finished after dark, so I stupidly was unable to inspect a final time. I emailed them and asked them to come back, but they are not responding.

Even after a full day of paving, he took the time to come by, measure our driveway, and had a detailed bid ready in under ten minutes. About a month later, he let me know they were doing work in the neighborhood and offered us a discount since his equipment was already nearby. We decided to move forward, and he had the entire job completed in just two days! My husband is usually very particular, and even he had nothing but praise for the quality and professionalism of their work. Tommy and his crew did a fantastic job...efficient, reliable, and honest. The team worked quickly, precisely, and paid attention to the details - like placing additional diverters where we get the largest amount of runoff from the roof. I couldn't be more impressed and won over by their service and expertise. Value-wise, they weren't the cheapest bid I received. However, no other company would stand behind their work for 10 years. And now having seen their team in action, I know I won't have to worry about those gutters for at least that long, and that peace of mind is worth more to me than what I paid. Thanks Lone Star!

Hands down, one of the best contractors I have worked with EVER! Super friendly, VERY informative,…read moreeasy to work with and professional! I needed help correcting an issue I had with my house over heating in the Texas sun since the builder of my house cut corners and didn't build adequate ventilation into the attic. Chris and his team fixed the issue for me, something I have been fighting with the builder and home warranty folks for 2 YEARS! I had gotten 5 different quotes on what I wanted done to my house and Chris and his staff were the ONLY ones that didn't try to tell me I needed more work done than I wanted. Didn't try to tell me they would contact my insurance for me to try to get me a whole new roof and didn't sound like they were trying to scam me. The entire staff was very skilled at what they do, did a great job of explaining to me what they were doing and brought any issues they had to my attention right away. On top of all of that, they are a family run business and I am always trying to support businesses like this! If you need work done on your roof, whether reroofing, ventilation, repairs etc, I HIGHLY recommend these folks!

I hired NXT Construction to remodel my duplex in Copperas Cove, and the entire experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. From the beginning, I was told certain items were included in the project, but later almost everything became a "change order" or an upcharge. They're cheap. They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor.
