I had a double cheese burger, California style fries, and the national Brazilian cocktail. Everything was awesome, seriously. The burger was cooked to perfection. The cheese oozed and was so tasty. I am definitely going back! I highly recommend!

It's the only place where the meat and toppings are consistently good enough that I am happy to order my burger "protein style" - in other words, for those of you who've never experienced California's InNOut, without a bun. Besides the amazing burgers the rest of the menu is for sure worth trying. I'm a fan of the corn on the cob, the pork bun, the veggie burger and all of the deserts when I'm not in the mood for the juicy beef patty.

This hole in the wall place came reccomended by Gol airlines inflight Magazine...Great!…read more I originally went here because I thought it was a salad bar. I was pleased to learn that it wasn't salads at all but instead, BURGERS. The cashier spoke very good English. I ordered a cheeseburger and truthfully it was top 5 burgers I've ever had. It was really good quality meat. To drink they offer a Welches style grape juice. Very good pairing to the food. You know, I think food might be more delicious, when restaurants remain humble like this. I'm happy to see they aren't branding it "best burger in the world" like I've seen elsewhere in this country, ahem, Maderos. I really don't like it when restaurants do that. Conclusion, this is a very good burger. Period.

A carne veio no ponto certinho! [ENG] Okay, it had been a really long time since I ate a burger in SP and reacted like: omg! That's what happened. I took a long time to visit Z Deli because people always said the space was too small and always crowded. Besides that, there ir no air conditioning, which can be pretty annoying in SP's summer. That's why the restaurant doesn't get a 5-star rating. But going back to the delicious part of this review, the burger is truly amaaaaazing! I ordered one called Minetta which has cheddar cheese and caramelized onion. The meat was exaclty medium well as ordered and bread was slightly crunchy with a little taste of butter. LOVED IT. The pastrami sandwich was little bit dry, wasn't that into it. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of fois gras, so I didn't get the famous foie gras burger. However, all of my friends that tried really really really liked it. The regular fries are great! Crunchy and not at all oily :) the fat fries are good, but they get kinda soaked in the sauce, so I prefered the other ones. There's also the pink lemonade, which I thought was bit sweet since it contains "groselha", a really sweet Brazilian drink. I often go back to Z Deli, but try to go on not so busy hours or just get a take out :)

I've walked past this place a thousand times and always told myself it must be great with the lines…read morethey usually have. I finally gave in to my curiosity and decided to try it for myself...and I'm glad I did! I don't eat burgers very often because I try to keep it healthy and most of them are not worth the calorie sacrifice. This one was well worth it! I decided to go all the way with the burger, bacon, cheese, and grilled onions. First thing I noticed was that the burger filled up the bun: no tiny piece of meat hiding inside a huge bun here! Second thing I noticed was that the cheddar cheese completely covered the meat, but didn't hang over so much that it spilled onto the paper instead of the sandwich. Then I bit into it and was happy I finally stopped. From the first bite, it was great: the cheddar cheese had a great melted texture and was just sharp enough. Then I really started to hit the grilled onions by the second or third bite and realized why the lines were so long. I could've just eaten an entire bowl of those grilled onions! Between the sharpness of the cheese, the sweetness of the onions, and the saltiness of the bacon, it really was a great burger. I tried the burger with the mayonnaise (which is served on the side for anyone not a fan of mayo) and am still not a fan of mayo on a burger. I tried some of the mustard that was handy on the counter and felt more at home. But honestly, I ate most of the burger with neither because I didn't NEED mayo, mustard, or ketchup to enjoy the burger! I usually judge my burgers by how messy they are....if you don't need a pile of napkins, then it's just not good. But this burger made me realize a burger can hold its juices well enough to be tasty without having to drip down my arm. Like another reviewer said: they are able to keep it simple because they use great ingredients that are prepared well.
