John chatted with us and made us feel welcome to the hotel. Outstanding job! Front desk had tea, coffee and hot chocolate a first for our honeymoon trip and personally I have never seen hot chocolate offered at a front desk before. There is also a refillable water station, which I have never seen in a hotel lobby. They have two iPad like computers in the lobby that you can print for free from. We went to our room where it looked like it was brand. New TV was huge and the room very clean. Only thing I would suggest is there's a fan blowing cold air that's moderately loud enough that you could hear it in the room slightly. Breakfast was good and there wasn't a lot of people in the breakfast room, but plenty of seating. Checking out was smooth and very easy front desk staff was very pleasant. we asked what to see around the area of Cornwall and they gave us some suggestions in Ottawa along with the housekeeping staff. The breakfast spread had a nice variety of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, fruits, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, an omelette bar and more. Beware that Century Motel charges you a fee even if you cancel your reservation weeks in advance.
