I've been going to this location of the Southbend Clinic for over 15 yrs. My Dr retired two years…read moreago and i got placed with another in the same facility. I have seen my new Dr around ten times and have scheduled a physical with him twice. in the two years that I have been with him he has not gotten up off his stool and provided me the service my insurance is paying for and i have yet to get a physical. I complained to him about pain in my neck and head and the response was thats weird. i complained about chest pains and instead of getting up to listen to my heart he scheduled me with a cardiologist. he has never checked my heart, lungs, feet because I'm diabetic, absolutely nothing. i finally after two years got up the courage to file an official complaint and what did they do transferred me to another location 35 min from my home and 45 min from my job and I have yet to hear anything from anyone in management from this facility or the head of the SB Clinic. either this Dr is a homophobe or he is just providing bad service to all his patients and insurance companies are getting taken to the cleaners and the SB Clinic is allowing it to happen. I would never reccomend anyone going to this facility or any location of the SB Clinic because they truly do not care about their patients.

They have no formal medical training, so when you think you are taking sound advice from the doctors nurse you aren't. They have no problem makes snide comments or voicing their opinions. I might as well ask the homeless man on the corner for information. Or better yet a magic eight ball. I will never step into this crappy excuse for a medical facility ever again. You know that saying one bad comment will be shared with ten people. Well, I also posted this on my fb account there's five hundred plus people for you.

Beacon is unreliable and unable to schedule phlebotomy. Last year I had to schedule the same blood…read moredraw five times. iIt was scheduled 6 months in advance. They called to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. The week before the new date, they called again to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. A friend suggested I get the draw at the beacon hospital. I went to the hospital to schedule a blood draw and was informed that I had to call scheduling foran appointment, but they could take walk ins. I waked in the next day and got my blood draw, but the staff told me they would not be able to take walk ins once the new wing was completed due to work load. I reviewed my blood test on line to find they had only done half the testing the doctor requested. I went back to Granger to get new orders to take to Lab Corp, and they said they could work me in the next morning between patients. The next morning I went to the Granger lab and I was the only patient there. meanwhile, my wife was experiencing the same problem, and they told her to go to Lab Corp. In December, I needed to schedule more bloodwork, and asked if I should go to Lab Corp. Beacon assured me they had hired more phlebotomists abd the problems were over. Feb 12 I received a text telling me to rescdule my April blood draw as they did not have enough staff to cover it. They are unreliable, incompetent, and confused.

Unfortunately, I will never recommend Beacon Medical Group. I have had trouble scheduling…read moreappointments and receiving medicine from this provider for years. Recently I had a very disappointing experience with this practice. I went for a medication checkup, and my provider was adamant that I receive a pap smear. I was caught off guard and declined for that specific appointment, and wished to come back at a later date when properly prepared. At that time, my doctor continued to pressure me, which was extremely uncomfortable as a patient. My doctor seemed very unsatisfied with my personal choice about my body. I called the office because I still felt quite unsettled and voiced my concern. No reply. About a week later, I received a letter that I had been released as a patient due to a breakdown in the relationship. If the doctor's approach had been different, I would have complied. I believe patients have a right to make informed decisions about their own health, and I felt that my boundaries were not respected in the slightest. This experience was unsettling and felt unprofessional. I expected a level of trust and open communication from a healthcare provider, but instead, I felt dismissed simply for exercising my right to choose. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values patient autonomy and respectful patient care. Women (and men) deserve compassionate care with patience and humility and this practice does not meet expectations.
