(I can judge physicians fairly well because I was in the healthcare business for 30 years--so I recognize "the good and the bad.") Dr. Tuttle stands out among the rest. He takes so much time to listen and seems to be in the practice of medicine because he genuinely wants to be of help to his patients. He has even developed a pricing plan for those of us who have very high deductibles and are paying without insurance. I highly recommend him for many reasons!

Dr. Lira was great... until she wasn't. She became frustrated with my ongoing weight loss (50…read morepounds, unintentional) and basically quit treating me. my nausea was horrible and I felt fatigued and miserable. She quit giving me any of my anti nausea meds and told me to drink ginger tea??? It was insulting. She told me to quit my job, quit nursing school, and she threw up her hands and said just go to Mayo clinic. You need to figure this out. (her job, not mine). She made it clear that she didn't care to treat my illness anymore, so I left in tears. Found a new PCP, and with a simple lab draw at my very first appointment I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, something she never checked for in the year I was seeing her. I do not recommend her for long term health problems, she used to be friendly and nice, but turned curt and the last 3 appointments I had with her I left in tears.

In fact, she works with you and tailors treatments according to your wishes and needs. I trust her with handling anything to do with me medically. Oh yes, they will take your blood right there in the office, with an appointment, and they use the small needles, which is hardly felt, (not even as much as a pin prick).

They had patience and took all the time necessary to answer questions or concerns. Laurie, one of the nurses was exceptional. She went out of her to assist me to the very end, walking up to the front desk to help me get all future appointments scheduled so I fully understood the next step. My situation is rather complicated but the staff at this clinic made it so much more manageable. That you all so very much. I have already recommended you to others I know.

I called on May 28th to make an appointment as I have been in severe pain. I cannot sleep, hurts to walk, hurts to lie down and hurts to sit. I pretty much can not get comfortable. Anyway, I call and the receptionist says that I can't be seen until June 21st, but that she will connect me to the nurse! What's the point of doing that? The nurse there does nothing to help! All she ever says is "Go to urgent care!" I have a doctor, so why do I need to go to urgent care?!? After I made the appointment, I was sent a link from Beacon to make a new appointment if I wanted to be seen sooner. So, I'm able to make an appointment for June 10th. I schedule the appointment, then today, two hours before my appointment, I get a call from Barbara telling me that I won't be able to be seen today and that I have to wait until the 21st! And why can't I be seen today? Because it's only a 15 minute appointment! Okay, and?!? I can't be seen and treated in 15 minutes?!? Oh, and Barbara said someone called me and left a message, but no one ever called me! That's another thing about this place. They lie about calling, they NEVER return phone calls EVER, if insurance puts a prior on a medication, I either never get the medicine or get it two months later and the nurse is rude and if you have an issue and are connected back to her, she tells you to go to urgent care, even though having a doctor is WHY you shouldn't have to go to urgent care!!! Beacon is a huge joke and they time out appointments, so if your appointment might take 20 minutes and all they have are 15 minute appointments, then you may be waiting a month or longer to see the doctor! This place needs to hire new staff and get rid of the lazy, incompetent, lying employees who couldn't care less about the patients! My doctor called me in a medicine on April 28th and my insurance put a prior on it. I kid you not, I did not get that medicine until 4 days ago on June 6th! This is what happens with this office every single time there's a prior on something! So, took this worthless staff over 6 weeks to get me my medicine that I should have had a day or two after it was originally called in! It's too bad that the staff here sucks because the doctor is truly amazing!
