ALL of the soda machines were out of order. The refrigerator sections were mostly empty. Another customer said something to me as I stood there processing the state of this Circle K and he was just as unhappy. What is happening with this place? Part of having a brand is setting expectations. Corporate needs to check in here.

Even though I stand and knock politely to get her attention, she continues to do non-urgent tasks, like clean the soda machine rack. This morning was the worst. She ignored me then made me wait at the window for about 3 minutes (I was the only customer present). I asked to buy spring water and another item, as I am parched from work. She went to take my card, then pretended the credit card machine was down. I said are you sure it's down. She said "yes". I looked her in the eye and said, "I don't believe you." Then I calmly turned on my heel and left. She did this with the full knowledge that I was in need of water. Five minutes later, I watched her complete a credit card transaction with another customer (a man in a white truck with an orange shirt on). She is making your company look bad. It's almost always a little cheaper than anywhere else nearby, enough that you feel like it's worth the stop. But you pay for it in time. This place gets packed. Not occasionally. Consistently. You pull in and immediately have to pick a lane and commit. There's a bit of strategy to it. You're watching cars, guessing who's about to leave, inching forward like everyone else. That said, it runs smoother than you'd think. People generally know what they're doing. Once a pump opens, things move. No one's hanging around too long, and the whole line sort of breathes forward in waves. Pumps are clean and everything works without a hassle. Tap your card, fuel up, done. No surprises, which is exactly what you want. Getting out can be a little annoying depending on how crowded it is. It's not chaos, just a bit tight and awkward when everyone's trying to leave at the same time. Four stars because it does its job really well, you just have to be willing to deal with the crowd. If you hit it at the right time, it's an easy win. If not, you'll earn that cheaper gas.

They also have a great selection of grab-and-go food as long as you're not going late at night as they tend to run out by the time 9:00 p.m. rolls around. I also enjoy that their fast food offerings tend to be open 24 hours.

Keep in mind you have to scroll down on the menu on the gas pump by selecting "more" to get to the $6 express wash. The machine as you enter the car wash has seen much better days but it will talk you through getting the code entered. Did the car wash get all the bird poop off? No. But for $6 I'm happy with the 90% success rate.
