This clean and efficient gas station is the new standard for convenience stores. Brightly lit, well stocked, reasonably priced, CLEAN and with associates who can actually speak English in a friendly manner. Love the QT. Hot dogs look like maybe they haven't been sitting on the rollers for hours. Coolers are well stocked with cold drinks. And the gas pumps actually have squeegees and liquid for cleaning windshields. I told the cashier (Ed, I think he said) I would go get the person who was actually wanting the alcohol and have him come inside to purchase it (he was the Designated Driver & wanted to be able to drink once we were back home in NC). He was smoking while I tried to get the drinks so we could hurry up and get home since kids were in the car and very tired, as was I. So, I tapped on the glass to get the attention of my cousin who was smoking out by the car and pointed to the alcohol to sign "hey, I don't have my id" and motioned for him to come inside to pay for it. As I approached the register to sit the alcohol down on the counter and let 'Ed' know that someone would come inside to pay for it, I hear Walter on the phone with the police telling them that he needs them to come to the store because I stole the alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What!? Are you freaking kidding me.....? WTAF.....? I explained to Walter that he had just heard me explain to the cashier what I was doing and that I could not believe he actually called the police on me. To this day I am still appalled! This young punk has no business working in customer service! They definitely cannot gauge someone's age correctly! I have a daughter who is 19 years old in College! And although very flattering, I haven't been carded in 12 years. Out of principle, I left the alcohol sitting there and none of us... myself, my husband, my aunt nor my two cousins will EVER shop at another QT again! The service at this particular location was excellent period there was a long line and yet the girl behind the counter never lost her smile nor her efficiency. I am sure that is not always easy to do because some people can get rather nasty when they are long lines. You just come in and get what you want. For me it is usually a fountain drink and a snack. Then, go to the counter and they check you out. If you don't need a receipt, that's it. If paying by debit card, a check mark appears and they say something along the lines of " have a good day" or " your good to go". So, how cool is this place. That's why I like coming here. Also, besides great fountain drinks, they have a big assortment of foods to choose from. It's a really nice size convenient store with pretty good prices too. Final Thoughts: Well, I love how easy it is to get in and out of. That's for both driving into the parking lot as well as walking in and out of the store too. Everything looks new and clean.
