The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and patient with us as we ordered. We ended up with a 1/4 Philly, a cow town burger, a full catfish, 5 hot wings, and the fried pickles. I really liked the burger and Philly but they do lightly dress everything so we ended up adding a little bit more mayo at home. The hot wings were well made with a very vinegar based buffalo hot sauce while the fried pickles were absolutely delicious. They tasted like best maid pickles and I'm a sucker for those! The rand is made in house and was also very well made. The catfish was good but the breading was definitely on the saltier side, paired with tartar sauce it wasn't too bad. All in all we're definitely coming back!

I've been coming here for over 15 years, and the consistency and flavor are truly second to none…read more I just returned from a trip to Mississippi, where I made a point of trying several local catfish restaurants, and I can confidently say this place has them all beat. The catfish and shrimp are always fresh and perfectly cooked, with an incredibly thin, light, and crispy breading that lets the flavor of the seafood come through. Add in their unbeatable homemade tartar and cocktail sauces, and it's hard to find anything that compares. The value is just as impressive, at approximately a quarter of the price of many other catfish, shrimp, and chicken establishments. One of the things I love most is that I don't even have to read the menu. I just walk (or drive) up to the window and order exactly what I'm in the mood for. Maybe four pieces of catfish, 15 shrimp, and an order of fries. They always figure out the lowest price for exactly what I order, which I really appreciate. After 15 years of visits, the quality has never let me down. Outstanding catfish, fantastic shrimp, incredible homemade sauces, great prices, and consistently delicious food. If you love thin, crispy Southern-style fried catfish and shrimp, this place is absolutely worth seeking out. Highly recommended!

Let's start with my husband's jalapeño burger... y'all... he took ONE bite and immediately hit me with "this tastes like a high-quality homemade burger." And he wasn't lying. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked--like backyard grill mastery but elevated. Now let's talk about the kiddo's chicken tenders--because WHAT?! These weren't your average frozen, tossed-in-the-fryer situation. These were hands down some of the BEST chicken tenders I've had in a long time. Fresh, crispy, perfectly breaded, cooked to absolute perfection--and don't even get me started on the fries... golden, crispy, and downright addictive. And then... MY plate. The street taco plate with carne asada. Listen... this didn't just meet expectations--it BLEW THEM OUT OF THE WATER. The meat was fresh, insanely well seasoned (not overdone, not dry--just PERFECT). The flavors were bold without being overwhelming. And the sauces?! Unreal. The serrano sauce had the perfect kick without burning your soul off, and that avocado salsa? Smooth, flavorful, and chef's kiss. As someone who lives in Texas, I can confidently say--this is NOT your typical Tex-Mex spot. And thank goodness for that. So many places either overcook everything or completely miss the seasoning... but not here. This is authentic flavor, done RIGHT. This has officially become my go-to taco spot. No question. No competition. We WILL be back--and not just once... this is going into regular rotation. If you're even THINKING about trying this place--STOP thinking and GO. You can thank me later.
