They also shared that the employee helping me was in her first week, which gave helpful context to the situation. As a kind gesture, they sent me a $10 gift card, which I thought was very thoughtful. When I came back in to use it, they recognized my name from the situation and took the time to talk with me in person and explain everything again. That really meant a lot and showed how much they care about their customers. Customer service and communication go a long way, and I'm grateful for the way they handled everything. It's a cozy spot and the coffee itself is consistently good. That said, the customer service can be hit or miss. The employees often come across as a bit unpleasant, which takes away from the experience. One thing that's especially frustrating is their refusal to allow personal cups. Almost every other coffee shop I visit is happy to accommodate this, and it doesn't require much effort, many places simply set the cup on the counter and pour the drink without even touching it. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference for customers who are trying to reduce waste or just prefer using their own cup. I really do like Melby's drinks and vibe, but improving the customer service and being a little more flexible with simple requests like personal cups would make the experience much better.

Today I returned to the same Starbucks to explain what happened the night before. The general manager was there she was so nice and remade my drink plus they made one for my son for free. If I reviewed this location yesterday it would have been 2 because my husband said the baristas were playing around, it took a long time to get the order then handed him the wrong order. Thank you for making it right. This location is on the smaller side but is great for a quick drink with a friend. They have some comfortable chairs with tables for your drink and essentials. There's a high table with bar stool chairs for a party of 6. They also have a nice display of Starbucks coffee and cups. I have my eye on the red tumbler.

Olivia was knowledgeable about the menu and provided me a recommendation on a fruity milk tea drink. They offer $2 off your purchase by signing up for their rewards and for leaving a review which is nice. I went with a strawberry with coconut milk tea and tapioca boba. I liked being able to try something new, the coconut milk is an acquired taste for me, so I'll stick with black tea as my base. My drink was decent and I look forward to trying out other drinks in the future.
