They also shared that the employee helping me was in her first week, which gave helpful context to the situation. As a kind gesture, they sent me a $10 gift card, which I thought was very thoughtful. When I came back in to use it, they recognized my name from the situation and took the time to talk with me in person and explain everything again. That really meant a lot and showed how much they care about their customers. Customer service and communication go a long way, and I'm grateful for the way they handled everything. The employees often come across as a bit unpleasant, which takes away from the experience. One thing that's especially frustrating is their refusal to allow personal cups. Almost every other coffee shop I visit is happy to accommodate this, and it doesn't require much effort, many places simply set the cup on the counter and pour the drink without even touching it. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference for customers who are trying to reduce waste or just prefer using their own cup. I really do like Melby's drinks and vibe, but improving the customer service and being a little more flexible with simple requests like personal cups would make the experience much better.

If I reviewed this location yesterday it would have been 2 because my husband said the baristas were playing around, it took a long time to get the order then handed him the wrong order. Thank you for making it right. This location is on the smaller side but is great for a quick drink with a friend. They have some comfortable chairs with tables for your drink and essentials. Olivia was knowledgeable about the menu and provided me a recommendation on a fruity milk tea drink. They offer $2 off your purchase by signing up for their rewards and for leaving a review which is nice. I went with a strawberry with coconut milk tea and tapioca boba. I liked being able to try something new, the coconut milk is an acquired taste for me, so I'll stick with black tea as my base. My drink was decent and I look forward to trying out other drinks in the future.
