As a native Dallisite ,7-11 was a fixture in my life for decades. When they introduced fresh gourmet coffee 24/7 in the 1980s ,I was a customer 365 mornings a year. Instead of making coffee at home before hitting the road, I made my first stop the 7-11 coffee bar. Unfortunately, they have declined to a point of being a 2nd tier player in the convenience store space. The only time I stop is in desperation. When there is nothing else around.
