(Review from 8/8/2019: Transferred from closed secondary account.)…read more *This place is a lovely, unique restaurant and bar. I believe they are privately owned and operated. They offer daily specials, weekly trivia contests, and a live music. Entertainers generally play live music several nights a week. Sinclairs host mostly acoustic performers, mainly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainers feature guitar playing solo artists in the bar area. As for the food... it's all pretty tasty. Served in an upscale fashion. And worth mentioning is THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEATLOAF I have ever eaten outside of my own kitchen; and yes, possibly even better than my own... which speaks volumes because I'm generally an excellent cook and extremely particular diner. (Not bragging - just emphasizing that my standards are high). This meatloaf is hearty, rich, and moist, with a firm meaty texture (Not over done with fillers). It's cut generously and served over freshly mashed potatoes topped with a complex & flavorful sauce I'd liken to a rich brown gravy with a hint of herbs & possibly a tad bit of steak sauce for good measure... Its the star. I just wished they served this on their daily menu! Speaking of... their entire menu is thoughtfully made, and the chef deserves major kudos for their talents in the kitchen. I will go with friends in tow to enjoy a night off in the kitchen, to enjoy some of the best meals our city has to offer. Looking for something do? Sports Watch Parties are a good time: Sinclair's serve as the neighborhood hub when it comes to watching our very own Kansas City Chiefs play. They will also host other major local or national sporting events. If sports aren't your thing, try your hand at trivia night on Mondays. You'll be glad you didn't stay home!

(Parts from original review 10/30/2019)…read more * Judging by the picture, I'd say he hated it... lol No really, it was delicious!!! This was a pleasant little hidden away cafe/bistro. It used to be nestled inside the Colonial Gardens nursery and market off 7 hwy and Wyatt streets in Blue Springs, MO. The signage was sparse, so it was difficult to find... But most people did! And it was so worth the adventure. On our original visit we ordered the Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit. It was light and fluffy on the inside and golden crispy on the outside. The fruit was perfectly ripe and naturally sweet. We also shared a half order of biscuits and gravy. Obviously made from scratch. A warm fluffy and moist biscuit under a generous serving of rich and creamy sausage forward gravy. I couldn't stop eating it I ordered their ham and cheese florentine frittata, which was filled with yummy ingredients and had a creamy custard layer on the top. It was absolutely mouthwatering! They're generous in their portion sizes there. The ambiance was pleasant and cozy. With lots of windows that afforded the best views of the arboretum. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We continued to frequent this place, even after they relocated onto Main Street at the square. They are able to accommodate more guests than before, and offer more dishes and pastries. They put out a heck of a breakfast! You really must try their hospitality. Always friendly, always kind. The actual address for their current location is now 1101 W Main St, (Suite A) Blue Springs, MO 64015. If interested, they are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. (Closed on Sunday and Monday). If you'd care to reach them, simply call (816) 600-0089. You can check on their daily specials, etc...

My "grape salad" was 5 grapes with a very thin layer of yogurt sauce. Quich was decent size. But still left a bit hungry. It wasn't awful but probably should have ordered off the menu as I'm not a buffet person. Very clean establishment. We saw all kinds of bulk food as you walk in the doors. Apparently they accept non perishable do to help out the locals if they need a hand up. They also help with the school summer lunch program. If that isn't enough of a reason to go visit...well I'm sorry you're dead inside.

In my opinion, $22 for an Easter brunch buffet should mean hot food that won't run out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Our party of 10 arrived at 11:00am and all of the food in the buffet was cold. Even when they'd bring more of a certain item to replace on the buffet line, it wasn't warm. The only item that was hot was the prime rib at the carving station. Being pregnant, I felt extremely uncomfortable eating cold buffet food due to the increased risk of food poisoning, so I wasn't able to enjoy much beyond the room temperature biscuits and the last scrapings of the white gravy along with some green beans that were warmish. Defintely not worth the $22 a person. They also ran out of carrot cake on Easter of all holidays, which was a disappointment. We probably won't be back for a buffet at Sandy's, which is a shame because our family has eaten their Mother's Day buffet several times and it had been fine (not stellar, but fine). Also, just a personal opinion, but the constant use of bad AI pictures on their Facebook is so cringey. The Boomers might like it, but the younger crowd sees this sort of stuff and thinks "yikes." We'd rather see real pictures of your real food, not a cartoon depiction.

They have delicious looking pies and other baked goods in the showcase. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. I opted for the regular breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash-browns and toast. My sister ordered eggs with French toast that looked really good as well. The restaurant is super cute-there was a diner top area with stools, plenty of tables and booths throughout. The restrooms were nice and clean and this restaurant will probably be one of my go to when I'm in the area.

We were seated right away as a party of 8, which was great for a larger group. Unfortunately, the experience this time was really slow when it came to food service. Our food took about 45 minutes to arrive, and we noticed smaller tables that were seated after us received their meals, ate, and left before we even got ours. Our server also walked past our table several times without giving any updates, which was frustrating while waiting. We typically go to the Liberty location because we've had better experiences there. This visit just wasn't the best, but we do like the overall vibe of the restaurant and hope service improves at this location.

Our server, Kim, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She promptly served me my hot coffee. It was mild and HOT! Just as I love it. My husband ordered OJ. It was super fresh - - yes, I tasted it - - and delicious. I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It is a VERY generous serving. I brought over half of it home! Delightfully plated, it was brimming with flavors. Delicious. My husband, the lover of all things "hash" ordered the Farmhouse Hash. I'll be ordering that the next time - - we shall return! - - it looked amazing. Others at the table? Son ordered French Toast, grandson #1 ordered blueberry pancakes (he shared a bite. STUPENDOUS! The fussiest eater in the group, he proclaimed it DELICIOUS!! (No mushrooms please. I told you he is fussy.) The DIL chose The Traditional breakfast and it did not disappoint. The serving dishes and utensils are first rate. The settings are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxing and COMFORTING. Until next time.....looking forward to another grand experience at this first rate place.
