Beautiful Home with such a unique story. Mrs. Quigley found a way to bring Nature indoors.

    Behold, Quigley's Castle.

Cat ladies have got nothing on Stone ladies. The titular Mrs. Quigley was fascinated with stones all her life. And flora. And coral. And arrowheads. And butterflies. Mr. Quigley gamely went along with it. He didn't quite share the same emotions his wife did. He was more a bottle man, himself. Man, what a couple meant for each other. The culmination of Mrs. Quigley's collections form the house we know as Quigley's Castle, one of those landmarks that is so Eureka Springs that even if it wasn't there somebody would have made it anyway. You wander through a little garden with stone artworks to the house itself, it's exterior walls made of the stones. Even more fascinating are the huge walls detailing the interior - a dirt moat running floor-to-ceiling (two floors!) with vines that have grown since the 40s. You will not forget this. Outside of some introductory words, you can explore the premises at your own pace. We were there about 30 minutes, and while that could be a bit brisk for some, an hour should satisfy everyone. If it doesn't for you, you are likely Mrs. Quigley incarnate, and you may never leave again. It's quaint and modest but our family loved it. My kids are pebbleheads themselves so this was up their alley - they were practically drafting up blueprints. It takes a lot to lodge Graceland from the top spot of their Dream House list, but Quigley's Castle may have done it.

Not really a mansion but impressive!

Right up our alley with quirkiness. Not for everyone but for us Californians and being over 60, we LOVED it. An incredible garden of rocks and flowers and while the house/garden needs some TLC it was still very fascinating because of the unique design of having the outside, inside the house. I loved seeing the old kitchen. We were given the freedom to tour on our own from Quigley's granddaughter and she was super sweet. Yes, I would tour again if in the area.

Wonderful place! I would definitely go again. Very unique and I loved hearing the story of Mrs. Quigley from her granddaughter.

Weird, quirky and oddly interesting. We stopped by on our way out of Eureka Springs and ended up enjoying it. We got a quick run down of the story behind the castle, and then took the self guided tour. The garden was pretty and the view was nice too! It does cost $7 per person to go in which is a little overpriced. $3 to $5 would have been more appropriate.

Amazing home. Interesting history. I'm so glad I took time to check it out. There's nothing like it anywhere!

Save your money. Look at the pictures online. The history is cool but the lady is rude and it is not worth being treated badly

Christ of the Ozarks was a bit underwhelming to be honest, but it feels wrong to give anything less…read morethan 4 stars to anything Jesus-inspired as he the absolute most amazing human to walk out earth. It was quite irritating to have to stop at the gate. I already knew it was free entry, but an older women practically stepped out in front of my Jeep. She was nice, but she didn't provide us with hardly any info after rambling on about everything except why we were there. Then she shoved a flyer at me, asked us where we were from, and said a donation would be cool. About the area to leading to the statue... By the time we got to Eureka Springs on 7.23.2025 it was so hot already. I tried my best to keep my dog on cooler grounds, but she ran on the hot pavement anyway. It is a short walk to the statue and a nice lookout area. I suggest everyone go on more walkabouts and contemplate their relationship with Jesus. Public restrooms were available, but not all that clean. Wheelchairs were available to borrow, but come on... you can muster the strength to walk to Jesus... Completed in 1966, this gleaming white statue stands at seven-stories tall. There was an informational sign on Jesus's back side. Dogs were not allowed at The Great Passion Play, so that was a big no for us even if they had a showing. We did not peruse any shops near the gate. Everything seemed too commercialized for my taste. I dedicate this review to my Aunt Dena who died today (8.27.2025) after an 8-year battle with cancer. RIP precious lady!

I found the way this is set up on the map to be confusing…read more We went to see the statue - yet found out that there's an entrance gate about 1/4 mile from it at "The Great Passion Play Sign" and everything beyond that is part of a big complex including the statue itself, a holy land tour, a bible museum, a sacred heart building, a chapel, and a section of the Berlin Wall. There was a huge outdoor area seating around 4,000 for a "Passion Play". There was also a gift shop, and many hiking trails. Didn't expect that. People that worked there were very friendly. I see it as a very good cause - ideal for evangelical types; yet can easily fit others.
