What a unique gem of a place! Yes, I used a cliché word just bear with me. I am seeing some reviews on here and I understand the mixed viewpoints because of the great divide in our country right now. People not being kind to one another saddens and disappoints me, because I love people regardless of race, wealth status and/or creed. Put your feels aside and just enjoy. Eureka Springs is a BEAUTIFUL, artsy, eclectic place with amazing natural beauty, incredible eats, and fun shopping. If you are not new agey you can easily avoid those places which I did and I still LOVED shopping and looking around. There are incredible spas, visit the natural springs in the area, go on trail runs or hikes. Take a JOY RIDE (I did in my Jeep) through the wonderful winding roads up the Ozark mountains. Stay in a Victorian home or adorable cottage. Eureka Springs will always have my artsy heart. I drove up solo after visiting family and friends and had a blast. Cannot wait to plan another trip and bring peeps up there to explore.

Parking can be a problem on a busy day. We paid for space on lot and walked around the main street. Not too busy in Nov before Thanksgiving so I imagine summer crowds would overwhelm the city. Lots of stores to sell stuff for tourists. We went to War Eagle Mills for lunch (see separate review).

I didn't expect what I got. It's a steep hilly downtown that descends quickly into various coffee shops and bourgeoise stores. It's remoteness in the Arkansas mountains opening up to this surprise makes it more of a bucket list place to go to.

I had the turkey and Swiss sandwich. It was amazing! The service was great and we didn't wait long for our food. I'll definitely be back.

This was our 6th visit since 2015, and it still feels like one of Eureka Springs' best hidden gems…read more Honestly, one of the best Italian spots in the Midwest. They only open from 4-8 PM, and the wait is real--usually 1 to 1.5 hours. But it's part of the experience. There are cozy indoor and outdoor areas to hang out, grab a drink, play board games, and even strike up conversations with other people waiting. We usually do. The restaurant itself is set in a house--small, warm, and full of character. Even the little details stood out this time, like the updated photos on the walls with new black frames. We started with the roasted garlic smashed in butter with bread--easily one of the best starters they have. The stuffed mushrooms are a must too--fresh, simple, and done right. Tonight's special was lasagna, and if you see it, order it. They only make it a couple times a week. Thick layers, rich without being heavy, and just a subtle hint of cinnamon that makes it stand out. The spaghetti and meatballs is a classic here, and they execute it perfectly every time. Now the tough part... The tiramisu has always been our gold standard. We've compared every tiramisu we've had to this one--and usually order 2-3 to go. But this time, it missed. It was heavy on whipped cream and lacking that bold coffee flavor and the ladyfingers that make it what it is. We were honestly disappointed, especially since it's the dessert we rave about to everyone. That said, one off night won't keep us away. We'll definitely be back--and hoping the tiramisu returns to being the best we've had. Till then, I am updating this place to 4 stars from 5
