At the front desk I informed them I had other things to do and could not wait any longer. They were apologetic, calling me a day later and rescheduling. Everyone makes mistakes so I let it go. The second occurred today when I got a call from a collection agency over a bill from the Eye Center I had never received. I assume the problem was that it went to my winter address in Florida rather than my summer address in NY state, where I was at the time. The fact that they never bothered to call me before turning it over to an agency upsets me. I have never had to deal with a collection agency before this. and have an excellent credit score. I am finding a new eye care provider.

I was amazed at the pre screenings and evaluations and the choices you have for the eye surgery. I had severe cataracts, with my left eye being almost fully occulded. I was scared of losing my sight. I was constantly reassured that the problem can and would be corrected. As soon as the first surgery was completed, I was amazed at the results. The second eye was done two weeks later with equal results. New lenses in my eyes and a new lease on life. I was counseled on the pre and aftercare and the entire staff was both professional ans reassuring. When I get up in the morning, I still look for my eyeglasses before realizing I no longer need them. I just need to use the cheaters for reading. I can now enjoy my reading once again, and have a renewed confidence in driving. The type and amount of pre and post care will make me recommend Franz Eyecare to any of my family and friends. My greatest thanks to Dr. Franz and his staff.

They also ignore you and act like you are lying or being hard to deal with if you tell them that you are allergic to the dilation drops that they insist on doing at each appt. Not every eye dr makes you do this. This place is behind the times. There are other and safer ways to check the eyes. I found out that all the dilation drops damaged my eyes PERMANENTLY. Do your research about frequently dilating the eyes and go elsewhere if you have any issues other than just cataracts. My eyes are miserable since letting them do cataract surgery. They tell me I am fine. I wish they could see and feel what I do.
