Beware of this place when you get you car inspected. They will try hard to sell you windshield wipers by saying your old ones are not good. The big stack of boxes upon boxes of wipers blades, told me I was about to buy wiper blades. They will tried to sell anything they can. What they don't tell you is, you can leave and fix the things that need to get fix on your own. Then you can come back and get re-inspected with in 15 days for FREE..."State Law".... They can only change you for the inspection. Which is $7... They can not charge a sir charge for credit or debit cards either. So once again Beware. read more

These guys r too corrupt to do business. Specially the young wanna be. Place is filled with fraud people. I went for inspection. Guy came around. Walked through my car and said it failed coz u have a crack in tail light assembly. Then he went ahead and charged me $14. When i asked him what was the money for he replied for inspection. I was stunned. Never had that happen to me before. It wasn't even a big hole or anything its a crack. Inspection is done for emission test. I knew i had a crack on my tail light assembly i surely didnt have to pay $14 for some young stupid kid to tell me that i had one. I went to another place and they did it without any hassle so i came to know that it was nothing major. These guys r bunch of money hungry people. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. This place is fast, but I think they have a bit of a windshield wiper scam going on. They failed my inspection because I had a tear in my windshield wiper. The tear was less than 1 cm in length. I was so surprised that this would render my car unfit for the roads that when I got home, I reviewed the DPS Rules and Regulations Manual for Operation of Official Vehicle Inspection Stations, which is available online. According to that Manual, the vehicle should be failed only if the wiper is torn more than 1 inch. So my suspicion is that they are stretching to fail your windshield wipers. They don't require you to have them install new windshield wipers. You can choose to take your car home and install the new ones yourself and they will reinspect your car once without charge. But, of course, that requires a second visit, so you are forced to decide whether the money you save from installing the windshield wipers yourself is worth the inconvenience of a second trip. I suspect a lot of people choose to have them install the new windshield wipers. They have stacks of them in their garage. read more

The man who "helped" me was extremely rude. He acknowledged a MAN who came way after me first. His friend who was "on break" as sitting behind the desk curled up in a ball, and I was scolded for asking him for help since no one talked to me. I was clearly treated MUCH differently than any man who came, as there were four men around me who were treated much differently. He was a sexist jerk and when I told him he was really rude and it warranted a bad Yelp review he sarcastically asked how he could improve and then muttered rude comments under his breath. I will never go back, and I hope he gets fired. He also left my car running after it had been inspected while I was checking out for no reason. Good luck to any woman who goes here. This is a inspection sticker only business. They are quick, efficient, and have no mechanics shop business to promote/feed potential clients to. One of the owners used to perform the inspections here, before he opened the College Station location. I still prefer this one, since its less busy. read more

This place is crazy quick! I couldn't believe it. Way better than spending an hr waiting at chain auto places that rarely ever have stickers in stock. I swear I was at this place a maximum of ten minutes even though there were others ahead of me. They did their job thoroughly and didn't mess around. The attendant who inspected my car flat out lied to me about whether or not the light bar needed to be repaired before he passed my car for inspection. He told me TWICE that it DID NEED to be repaired before he would pass it. When he told me they would charge me $75 to repair it - I told him no thank you. I have used this inspection business for my vehicles for a number of years and always had a good experience ...... until yesterday. The crew at the Briarcrest location are very quick and thorough in getting your vehicle inspected, but beware - they will find the most nit-picky things to get extra money out of you. The type of things that are their "opinion" more than anything else. You can always disagree and be out the inspection fee or you can agree to the questionable extra fees and get out of there. This is apparently the newest way for them to get their tips since the tip jar on the counter was empty. If you use them, add $15 per vehicle to your fee to get out. I'll never use them again for my vehicles after the latest experience. read more

Incompetent. Said the could not inspect my car because paper work was incomplete. I asked what was missing? They said policy expiration. I pointed it out to them. Then they said it was missing the VIN #. I had to point that out to them as well. Do you even hire people that can read? Then they tried to tell me they could not pass the vehicle because the windshield wipers were old and worn out, but they could sell and put on some new ones for me. At a rather ridiculous price. I replaced them less than 3 months ago myself. At this point I knew I was dealing with very dishonest people. I had used Quicker Sticker 4 out of the last 5 years for my inspection but never again after this. read more

First of all this isnt a tip me service you do a job based on the state. Secondly if you are planning on going here plan on it be fast. The two guys that looked like drug abusers were so kind to tell me my car wasnt supposed to sound a certain way, and then gave me shot about a fucking tip. They drove my car around put it inside didnt do a real fucking inspection then told me here you go 7.50. And a tip. Like wtf. Dont use this buisness if you want it done right. First of all, this place will charge $14.50 regardless of whether your car passes inspection or not. My brand-new car "failed" the inspection today because they found a tear in my windshield wiper that was 1/8 of an inch long! No kidding! When I went to show it to my wife, another kid that works there came up and confronted me about being "patronizing." They told me my car would fail (and I would owe $14) because of the miniature tear in the windshield wiper unless I bought a whole new set of wipers from them (Lucky for me they were fully stocked! In the trash there were about 20 empty wiper packages, evidence they do this to a lot of people). Without even asking me if I wanted to buy the wipers from them, they wrote me up a "failure" slip and told me I had to pay the fee. They were incredibly rude throughout the whole process. This time, the clerk tells me my 2013 car would not pass inspection unless brake fluid was added. Brake fluid is NOT REQUIRED to pass state inspection. We've been going to Quicker Sticker for 20 years or so since when Albert had the shop on Texas Ave. but we won't be going back. My wife took our car to be inspected at the College Station location and was told it failed due to a wiper blade and low power steering fluid. I can understand the wiper blade as it did have a slight tear (has to be 1" or more to fail) but they wanted $4 to top off the power steering fluid. The State rule says to fail " Fluid in power steering unit is below manufacturer's recommended level. Do not overfill." That means they can only fail it if it is BELOW the minimum mark. I double checked it and it was definitely above the Minimum mark. These guys are a bunch of crooks. Do they only do this to women? Hopefully Albert doesn't have anything to do with this. read more
