We were prepping to paint main floor and stairwells of our townhouse which meant that loose banister had to finally be repaired. Our painting team did not have skill to repair nor did they have a recommended handyperson. Via google, we found Quick Sidekick Handyman. They were in our area and had good reviews. When I reached out, there was no time delay in responses and very reasonable booking time. In fact, although I had booked for 3 days away, when a spot became available for later that afternoon, they kept me in mind and asked Vitali to swing by. He was very personable, professional and I felt safe with him in my home. He wore face mask whole time without being prompted. (I have multiple sclerosis and had gone through immune therapy last March so am at risk/quarantined) Vitali had banister repaired and secured into a wall stud vs the wall board which is why it came loose. Knowing that we had painters coming in a few days, he even took time to prep the wall area. I feel much safer now using the stairs with banister more secure; wish I had reached out to Quick Sidekick Handyman many months earlier! Recommended!!! So I booked Experior Cleaning last month for my condo in Vancouver, mostly to get rid of dust and kitchen grease that just wouldn't go away no matter what I try. I saw their ad online and decided to give it a go cause the price was not bad. The lady on the phone was nice, tho a little hard to understand. She said they would come between 10 and 11am. They showed up at 11:30, which kinda bugged me cause I was waiting since 9:45. But ok, at least they came. The two cleaners seemed nice, didn't talk much, just got to work. They cleaned the kitchen really good, especially behind the stove which I honestly forgot about. Bathroom looked fresh too. But they forgot to vacuum one of the bedrooms, and I had to remind them at the end. Not a huge deal, but still. Also they didn't bring enough cloths so they was reusing the same one which didn't seem super clean? In the end, it was alright. Not amazing, not terrible. If you just need basic clean and not super picky, it's probably fine. I'd maybe try them again if I'm in a rush or can't find someone else. read more

The rain cap was torn off the top of our chimney in a windstorm. As the chimney top is higher than the peak of the roof of our two story house, working at this height safely would require experience and safety gear, not just a very tall ladder. Quick SideKick provided a two-man crew with the required gear and experience, and they were able to quickly and efficiently screw the rain cap back on, replacing the failed rivets. On time, polite, professional, efficient. I had a 6 inch hole in my cedar shake siding that a woodpecker had made. Naturally it was at the 3rd floor level of my century old home! I called Quick Sidekick who sent someone to look at it and then sent someone else who had more experience with siding. To my delight Rad came with a helper, assessed the damage and offered to fix it that day. I had spare shingles and the correct paint for him to use. I needed the moss on my roof in Coquitlam removed and found this business through a friend. They handled this job very efficiently and professionally and the cost was extremely reasonable. I could have rented the equipment and done it myself but I now have an arthritic shoulder so having these guys do the job was very welcome.
