After a less-than-stellar experience by one of the more local, yet highly visible oil change places in the area, I was none too keen to get my oil changed by them again. Lo and behold, there was a Valvoline nearby, which I had used years ago while living in another state. When I pulled in, there were large flags indicating discounts for LSU faculty and staff (woohoo - a win I wasn't expecting - about 20% off!) and the folks there directed me to pull around into one of the bays. I was there only one there around 9am on a Friday. Brad, Dontae, and Elliot were so friendly and fast at getting my oil changed - took maybe about 20 minutes when all was said and done (including changing out my engine air filter and resetting my dashboard inspection indicator, which is always a hassle - thanks VW for that!). I will definitely be going back when I'm due for my next oil change!

They hadn't tightened the lug nuts properly. Recently, I went in for an oil change. I then drove to my brother's house in Georgia for the holidays. He took off the plate that sits over the oil filter and told me that they didn't change the oil filter. When I told someone at Express about it, he all but called me a liar. The inspection sticker process is the easiest and fastest I've been to (because what place is actually going to have an ideal wait time for this). The line can get long, but if you catch it at the right time, you'll have 1-2 cars in front of you max and wait maybe 10-15 minutes. If there are more than 4-5 cars in line, just come back later - it fluctuates! The actual inspection sticker process is quick and easy. You can pay cash or card and wait inside where there is a bathroom, or outside on the benches if it's a nice day - the attendant will come get you when the inspection is done (about 10 minutes). Easy and over! As for the car wash, I usually just go for the basic and use the complimentary self vacuum stations in the back. There is always a spot open, I've never had to wait for those! The vacuums are strong and can get out dog hair from your car, which is big for me. Definitely go to this Benny's if it's close!

We go to this Take 5 and there was a car in each of the 3 bays. Three people were working and we arrived at 9:31 am cars came after us and left after attendant went and talked to them. The car in front of us had a female in it the attendant seemed to enjoy upselling and flirting with. He leaned in her car chatting and laughing with for almost 10 minutes. We were pulled into a bay at 10:11 40 minutes after arriving. They begin working on one of the other cars that were in the bays when we pulled up. I had thought someone had left them but people were in them. They stood around trying to upsell the next car and taking pictures of each other when they did. They told me where to buy the plug and were able to do an oil change within ten mins of me bringing the plug back. They checked everything and recommended a few things like an oil additive snd a fuel additive. I selected only the oil additive for about $18. They also did a clean out of the old oil. When all was done my bill was around $184. A bit more than I expected. Could have gotten most of this done for free at the dealership where I purchased my GMC Canyon, but did not want to get up early and wait for work to be done. Benny's was more convenient for me time wise. Plus I got a free car wash. Throughout the whole work they showed me the old filters before they installed new ones. Used high grade synthetic oil. I chose the interior and exterior cleaning. Since Covid, you now get to sit in your car for the cleaning and exit to have the interior done. It was remarkable. They even worked to get a food stain out the seat that a friend made when (poorly) carrying a casserole in his lap. Sure, there were a couple of spots from a dirt stain I had to brush off the outside, but it was great for the value. They will try to push you to sign up for a monthly subscription, but were respectful when i declined after a couple of times.
